Had a lovely day today with hunny and friends Popped into the shop to hang up some of my new signage .. and our hours have changed next week too .. have Mondays off now instead are working Saturdays I think that will be much better Then we went to my friends new cafe/restaurant had a lovely catch up with everyone and I checked out the menu very carefully .. had 1.5 Vege/Feta Fritters with salad leaves ... it was really delicious
After a coffee we came home and relaxed out in the sun for a couple of hours, getting some washing done and spending time with the dogs .. dinner was a simple bowl of fruit (grapes, apples, bananas, oranges) ... tomorrow its hair day .. getting curls Then hunny is taking me out for a photo shoot ... so may post a pic or two from the afternoon so you can see my new hairstyle Then Monday Im going to support one of my friends that is doing a 16km walk! So in awe .. was thinking of joining her .. but I still cant get my sneaker on that foot, its popped and is red .. about the size of a .. umm .. quarter (had to think about the different currency lol) ... so keeping shoes off for a few days to give it a chance to heel .. then back to the gym on Tuesday (with my new gym buddy ).

Hope everyone else is having a wonderful weekend .. its beautiful and sunny in NZ .. with just enough of a breeze not to make it too hot .. but it looks like its going to be a melting summer ... got a great compliment today at lunch with my friends .. was wearing my maxi dress out (for the first time) and they were shocked at the weight loss .. they are so used to seeing me in really baggy clothes not in ones that skim the body and show the shape lol .. so that just added to my day .. OH ..

The rings!! My hunny and I went in with our rings on Friday night ... His has to get replaced .. cant be resized due to its material (tungsten) .. and it takes 4-6 weeks to make .. eeek .. 4.5 weeks to the wedding!! But he has gone from a Y .. down to a V!! No wonder the dang thing just fell off .. and yet it fit him perfectly when we picked it up 4 weeks ago! But he has lost 12kg .. some must have come off the hands lol .. for myself .. my engagement ring is a T (yes big fingers lol) .. and now my wedding ring will be an R and a half. Im not sure what that is in numbers sorry lol .. But Im happy its a bit smaller .. it will be pretty tight .. but as I am still losing weight it just means I wont have to get it resized too soon

So no longer a brunette (reddish lol) .. now a blonde ... decided not to get the perm as it would damage my hair too much .. so they just curled it with the wands ... hunny and I had fun with the shoot .. so I thought I would share a couple of pics .. have to get used to them being taken before the wedding I suppose lol ..

Hello all
I would like to participate in Christmas challenge by would like to lose 15lbs that will brung me down to 278. I remember I was in the 270s pregnamt wih my first child. So to get into the 278 by Christmas will be a wonderful present to myself. Matterfact changing my ticker to help motivate myself

Nightkatt those pictures look great!!!

I am 1 pound away from being back at my ticker weight after the loss of control for a few days last week... it feels so nice to be in control again.

I don't even care if I don't have a loss to report tomorrow, so long as I weigh in at my ticker weight.

TIME4ME2CHANGE - Thanks hun .. Im feeling very positive. And great news on your ticker goal for this week It does feel a lot better to be on plan and in control again doesn't it?? I know last week I felt way out of control or off-balance being a maintain week after so many loss goal weeks .. so happy to be back in the zone again lol.

DOLPHIN - Thanks! I wasn't sure if I was going to go that blonde or not .. but I thought eh .. what the heck lol .. I doubt if it will stay that blonde for a long time as I have natural red in my hair so it tends to go more coppery when I last had it done years ago .. but with summer here in NZ and me out and about it will keep it light through it anyway



Had my weigh in today .. and yes I was dreading it .. not sure what my reaction would be to not losing anything as it was a maintain week .. and I did have a few things I wouldn't have normally had (Mcdonalds wrap, some bacon & egg pie etc) ... while I understood the need for me to not have plan focused weeks I did feel out of sorts and off balanced .. and funnily enough I felt hungry a lot more than when I am on plan .. and yet I was eating more! So took a deep breath before I got on the scales .. only to find .. I LOST another 2 pounds!? Darned if I know how that happened .. but Im not gonna quibble lol .. so just under 6 pounds to go for the wedding .. and I really think its going to happen

I signed up yesterday with a few friends for a 5km Colour Run team for March next year ... Im not running .. but will be walking it ... and we might also do the one in February which is the 5km round the bays in Wellington ... My mum and sister might come and join me for that one too .. so Im going to let my trainer know what the plan is and set up a routine to get me ready for it .. so far I can do 1.6km in 20 minutes ... so want to try to aim for 1km per 10 min .. umm .. maybe 15 min lol .. one of the girls on the team can do 2.2km in 20 min lol .. so will see (but she is 15 years younger than me and has been training a lot longer). We are going to be pushing prams too though so I don't think we will be racing .. but want to aim for 1.5 hours to complete it if we can Very excited about it If you want to know what a colour run is .. just google colour run

So I want to lose 15lbs by Christmas. My starting weight is 293.2 I would like to be at 278 on Christmas. So how does this work do we report to this forum every sunday? Please let me know I am excited to start this I am a very competitive person sometimes it sounds like fun.

Hey hun .. right .... have added you to the sheet Pop in any time .. sometimes its a good way to get through the day or keep your focus .. other times its just a good way to touch base or tell us about your day .. I find, for myself anyway, that reading what others are doing or going through can help put things straight in my own head, or give me new ideas .. and then it makes my journey a little better. I do come in most days .. in fact multiple times a day lol .. but it does keep me focused and real about my journey. Whatever is your weigh in day is fine with me .. I post the sheet every Sunday night (NZ time by the way lol) .. so if you want to post it then that is fine ... I will put it on the closest date .. I weigh in on Mondays .. others on here are mid-week, some are Fridays and others the weekends .. some are weekly, others are fortnightly and we also have a monthly one



KATT OFF THE RAILS!!

Okee .. so I wasn't toooooo bad .. but it was the worst slip I have had since before I started .. on the plus side .. its after my weigh in and that means I have the rest of the week to behave lol .. today I went to see a friend and we had a lovely cup of green tea with ginger, I was there til well after my normal snack time and I had forgotten to take one of my bars with me Soooooo instead of just coming straight home I stopped at the bakery at the bottom of the hill and bought a bacon/egg/cheese pie, a chocolate eclair and a piece of banana cake!!! ARGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH. Okee .. so I ate the lot .. and have only just stopped feeling sick ... don't get me wrong .. I LOVED every mouthful lol .. just my tummy had been without cream and fatty things for so long it wasn't impressed with the new foods ... feeling better now .. and while I know I won't binge like that again if I can help it .. Im not feeling guilty about it .. I figure I have been well behaved for 3 months .. I have pretty much given up chocolate, coffee and savouries .. and carbs ... except in minimal amounts so I should have expected a splurge at some point lol ..
Soooo dinner will be as planned .. mostly vegetables with a small boneless/skinless chicken thigh (no leg attached) ... Im still below my daily calorie intake .. so no need to stress myself over it ... but it is a good reminder that I need to carry my bars with me in my bag for those "just in case" moments!

Nightkatt - good on you for not feeling guilty over the cheat. It's a reminder for you and for us that I huge part of this journey is proper planning. You got right back on the horse instead of saying, well, I already messed up the day, might as well keep going. Yay!

I CANNOT believe I am posting a loss today after I went so off track this week and gained almost 5 pounds... now today I was a bit sick at work, so I might be dehydrated, but still love that number and feeling so motivated to see myself in the 350's.... the whole motivation for my goal was simply to dip below 350, that's why I chose 349.... but of course if I could drop even more I'd be thrilled.

Nightkatt- You look great! Love your new hair! Well done on another loss, you're a rock star! You'll have to post pics of the Colour Run, that looks like so much fun! I had to laugh as I read about your little trip to the bakery- I can just picture it so vividly- the NZ bakery, the pie and treats. When I was a student in NZ, I used to buy a giant loaf of white bread of cheese bread for $1 when I took a trip to town, eat a bunch of it, and then share the rest with my fellow students on the ride back home. So cheap, just what a student needs, lol!

Time4me2change- I know how you feel, I re-gained 14 lbs this summer, and I'm on my way back down. I can't wait until I'm there again! Congrats on the loss this week, and on being in the 350's!

Isles, Dolphin, & Turtle, Congrats on the loss- any loss is better than none, or a gain!

As for me- Have been mostly on plan, but I've also had many cheats, and a few meals out at family's homes- so I'm thrilled with my loss this week. I really have to take some pics and measurements today, so that I have something recent to compare to. Bonus, just realised that I'm no longer obese, I'm now overweight, lol.
