It does feel a lot better to be on plan and in control again doesn't it?? I know last week I felt way out of control or off-balance being a maintain week after so many loss goal weeks .. so happy to be back in the zone again lol.
DOLPHIN - Thanks! I wasn't sure if I was going to go that blonde or not .. but I thought eh .. what the heck lol .. I doubt if it will stay that blonde for a long time as I have natural red in my hair so it tends to go more coppery when I last had it done years ago .. but with summer here in NZ and me out and about it will keep it light through it anyway
Had my weigh in today .. and yes I was dreading it .. not sure what my reaction would be to not losing anything as it was a maintain week .. and I did have a few things I wouldn't have normally had (Mcdonalds wrap, some bacon & egg pie etc) ... while I understood the need for me to not have plan focused weeks I did feel out of sorts and off balanced .. and funnily enough I felt hungry a lot more than when I am on plan .. and yet I was eating more! So took a deep breath before I got on the scales .. only to find .. I LOST another 2 pounds!? Darned if I know how that happened .. but Im not gonna quibble lol .. so just under 6 pounds to go for the wedding .. and I really think its going to happen
I signed up yesterday with a few friends for a 5km Colour Run team for March next year ... Im not running .. but will be walking it ... and we might also do the one in February which is the 5km round the bays in Wellington ... My mum and sister might come and join me for that one too .. so Im going to let my trainer know what the plan is and set up a routine to get me ready for it .. so far I can do 1.6km in 20 minutes ... so want to try to aim for 1km per 10 min .. umm .. maybe 15 min lol .. one of the girls on the team can do 2.2km in 20 min lol .. so will see (but she is 15 years younger than me and has been training a lot longer). We are going to be pushing prams too though so I don't think we will be racing .. but want to aim for 1.5 hours to complete it if we can
