Default Happy Easter!

I just wanted to pop in and say hi to my gal pals. I miss all of you! I still have to stumble over words and writing, but I read often. LOL!

I am happy to see that you are still fighting the fight to get healthy.

Hubby had a scare with his heart, but everything is good for now. Of course he eats JUNK! and won't listen to anyone. At 83 years I suppose it is up to him to do or not to do.

We are still trying to get settled in to the new place. Had a problem with the carpet that was installed and I am ready to strangled someone. Maybe they think I will die and they won't have to address the issue? (just kidding!).

Love to all, Ruth

I wasnt pop yesterday. I had a fun day with my kids and grands. I love cooking and did fine until I ate the second oat pull apart rolls my daughter in law made. They are so good.
I am cooking again today and my sister in law is here also so I will also cook breakfast. I will be POP today!
Got a pedi last night with my sil.

vicki - chess pie is kinda like a custard pie, just butter, eggs, milk, sugar, flour and a bit of cornmeal. Its my sons favorite and doesnt tempt me at all.

Good morning to all. Hope you've had a lovely weekend.

We had a fabulous thunderstorm last night. We don't get them often and I love them so! The boys were out front of the house at 11 pm doing the Harlem Shake in the rain. Sillies! Loved it!

So I've been doing really well with diet and exercise during our 10-week challenge at work. Week One is at an end. I gained three pounds, but I have been faithful with the nutrition, so I know this is water retention. And it's all in my muscles, because I really pushed the upper body workouts this week and my shirts are tight through my upper back and arms. No edema in hands and feet. It's about the muscles getting well-worked. I'm not worried about the added weight, as long as my pants get looser.

But yesterday was a day of eating up! I was hungry all day, even though I took a break from exercise. Today, the hunger beast is not so loud.

Wishing you all a good week!

Had a great weekend! Found out that I can still eat at Qdoba's (one of the DH's favorite restaurants) and still stay within my WW points. I just had the naked burrito and brought my own fat free cheese and sour cream from home. DH didn't order any chips and guacamole, so I wasn't tempted there. Was quite pleased with myself considering I was able to remain POP all weekend and still be able to eat out with the rest of the family.

I had a huge family meal today and invited a couple of hubbys sisters and their families. We had a great time and I got to have an egg hunt for my youngest grandson. The rest of my grandkids had their hunt here yesterday. I did much better with eating today. I piled my plate high with green beans and avoided the mac and cheese and bad stuff. woohoo

We have 6 weeks before the wedding and I so want to lose the next 17lbs. I will work extra hard from now till then! My focus this week will be on water and some exercise.
