Oh that's interesting about rollover. I really would try on food stamps, but I worry they'll laugh me right out seeing an obese person applying for food stamps.

Years ago, I tried to get on Medi-Cal, and they told me I didn't quality for the above reasons, sigh. I was covered when I was working though on private insurance. I will try again though. It couldn't hurt. I hope I can get my dad to sign that letter. If he would that would sure help. That may be an even bigger challenge than getting the aide. He hates "socialism", lol.

Hi Thin,

there are people of all sizes that apply for foodstamps. Weight/size has no bearings on whether or not you get approved. Most of the people there could care less what anyone else looks like. Shoot, many of the people that work at the foodstamp office are severely overweight They are there to do a service and perform a job. What you look like doesn't matter.

Your weight is not as big of a deal as I think your mind believes. I'm about the same height as you and I'm much heavier than you and I don't have any of those problems b/c of my size. Often, If others (especially in a professional capacity) see that you are confident in your skin, they will respect you and treat you that same way.

You have lost a lot of weight. Be confident! Don't be your biggest enemy
