Default me too

I'm encouraged to hear this. I've been kind of surprised that after losing 40 pounds or so a lot of people don't seem to notice. It's interesting to see who does and who doesn't--my closest ones are always screaming that I look so great and oh my god! but some pretty good friends either haven't noticed or haven't felt like it was their place to say anything for fear it might come off wrong.

As for me noticing changes, I'm notice it in my clothes, on the stairs, during my workout, in my face, in my boobs (kidding) I should definitely do the picture thing and chart my progress regularly. Especially for those long vicious plateaus where it can feel like nothing is happening, but with exercise the bod does still keep changing--amazing machine!

Wow, I didn't think I would get so many responses so quickly! I think one of the discouraging parts of this is definitely that it's not something that feels so obvious to you after a fair bit of work at it. I have noticed slight things, like my skirt fits a tiny bit looser, and one of my shirts isnt tight in the upper arm anymore. But I don't really "look" different yet.

Things I noticed
I felt better after 10 lbs
My Clothes fit better after about 20-30 lbs.
My Clothes were loose or too big to wear 30-40 lbs
Also I was able to fit into alot of things I hadn't worn in years at this point.
I saw a visible difference at about 35 lbs.

40-ish for family and a few close friends to notice.
40-50 EVERYONE noticed. It was weird, how it snowballed.

Still wearing the same clothes, though lots are nearly falling off, but also wearing things I'd "grown out of" now too. I have one pair of size 24 shorts that are RESISTING me. They are jean shorts, not stretch denim, no elastic or give anywhere. They still feel a bit snug around the waist. Jean shorts...YOU WILL SUBMIT!
