Exclamation New Girl in Need
Hello my 30-something Sisters!
I am a Northwest Alabamian, mom of one daughter, wife, and college student. I have chosen the most tumultuous time of my life to get in shape again - could kick myself for getting this large! Have about 70 pounds to lose. NOW is the time! I will be 35 next month. Not getting any younger. Don't recognize the overweight woman in the mirror. Where did I go!? I would like to reintroduce myself to ME. Need to talk to all the wise women out there.

Welcome ladyjo! So glad that you joined us. I just recently joined myself and this group is awesome. Very encouraging and funny. I'll be 40 next year and I can *so* relate to what you're saying about wanting to find "me" again. You are not alone.... I look at my arms, my legs, my underwear! and think, "what the ...???"

ladyjo, having a family and going to school while trying to lose weight is challaging at best. Does your school have a gym or exersize/workout room? That would help if you have time in between classes.

I just graduated from a dual bachalors degree in May, but I don't have the family (just parents) and so I know what you are going through. Feel free to join us on our daily thread (chats).
