Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!!

(And hi to the Canadians and Kirsty!!)

Auntie Belle - Thanksgiving is always on a Thursday here; the 4th Thurs. of November. A lot of people then get Friday off so it does end up being a long weekend.

Belle, what kind of foods are traditional for Canada Thanksgiving?? Our is turkey, stuffing, cranberries and pumpkin pie. You probably know the whole story behing thanksgiving here tho.

Oh I visited Plymouth Rock/Plantation a couple years ago and that was really cool too see. And got to go on a replica of the Mayflower. WOW, I can't believe what people went through to be free!!! I like history stuff, but not as much as hubby, he is a history freak. Knows way more than any man should!!! He is full of useless knowledge.

JenK... I noticed that more people have to work the Friday after T-giving than ever before. We do, but we can take it off if we want. I don't have daycare that day so I am, but I may stop in for a quicky... yes I am a glutton for punishment at work!!!!

Deb... work is very stressful and tight the months of Nov/Dec. So things are not fun for me most of the time. And being PG and I am way more emotional and stressed and even go home sick to my stomach. UGHHH... Where is February when I need it!!!!

Jen - my girlfriend is PG too (due in May) and she's emotional too. She decided to do a secret santa for underpriveledged kids that her job is sponsoring and her child asked for "I want some baby clothes and toys and a lot of love" and she couldn't stop crying.

She just had to fight to get flex time w/ her job - so that was stressing her out there too.

February will be here before you know it - the next month will fly by with the holidays & new year!

Well works sucks today. I have a three hour break in between clients so I decided to come home b/c there is no point sitting there with nothing to do.

Jen, we have all the same foods as you guys for Thanksgiving. Its pretty much the same deal except ours is always the secong Monday in October. Hope you feel more relaxed tomorrow since you won't be at work. When I was in high school we made tortillas in a frying pan. THey were't all uniform but they worked.

Belle, glad to hear you're feeling better! Hopefully BF doesn't pass it back to you.

KT, I can't help you with the points on antipasto. I don't think I've ever even eaten it.

Deb that recipe sounds delish! Thanks for sharing.

Anyway thought I'd pop in since I'm home anyway. Talk to you later. Don't eat too much tomorrow!!

Deb... Yup that is me. I cry at TV shows all the time. I was like this when I was PG with Emma too. But work and stress just really make me weak lately. UGHHHH..... If I can make it through December, I think I can survive. But it is going to be a hard one. I hope not as hard as last year tho... that was killer. Tho I am PG this time, so I may react worse this year! Oh and I am kind of lucky with time off because even tho my time off sucks, I can bring the baby to work with me for awhile. So that is nice. Emma came to work with me for 2 weeks before I she was old enough and I was ready for daycare. Only one young guy complained about her being there because the crying (once a day) was too much for him. He is getting married this coming summer and I can't wait until he has a kid and realizes it DOES change your life!!

Rina, I will look for recipes if I can. I don't buy the FF tortillas because they are higher in calories and aren't any better for you. And I have never been able to find the ones that are supposedly 1 point. Mine are usually 2 points and I live with that.

50 minutes... then I am making dinner for my family and figuring out what to do with the salad I have to make for tomorrow. Hope it is good, I never tried it before. I am making a Napa Cabbage and Snow Pea Slaw.
