how short was yours? Mine was practically shaved in the back and sides with the top a little longer. That was about 2 years ago. I'm now just barely touching my shoulders.

If you click on the '6 months at goal' link in my signature it shows a picture from my wedding in 2006 (with a few other short hair pics from other years) that was at almost my shortest point and then pics from just a couple of weeks ago. It was shaved and stacked up so much in the back that my managers used to tell me I had "Ricky Schroeder hair", it is just getting to my shoulders now.

Go for it! I cut mine when I started my weight loss - kind of a "new me" symbol. I donated my hair to "Locks of Love". I really like it short much better! So much easier to take care of
I have had bangs since I was 3 (with a short respite in the 70s when everyone had long straight hair with a part down the middle )

Likewise - my hairline is too high for my face without bangs - but I did long straight parted-in-the-middle thing too.

I have never had bangs. My face can get very round. Now I have cheek bones.
