The only two I've ever tried were the cheese cake on a stick (disappointing it was frozen too hard to have much flavor) and deep fried mac and cheese (but it wasn't on a stick, but on a buffet and it was about an inch and a half square.

As junky as all of them are, there's not one that couldn't be included in a healthy diet, though for most of them that would mean splitting the dishes with anywhere from 2 to 20 people (or even more).

I don't get the sweet and savory combos though (the hot beef sundaes, the Krispy Kreme cheeseburgers), blegh.

The bacon flavored mayo actually sounded really good to me. A thin shmear on a roasted turkey sandwhich - instant club. I've heard of this company before in their bacon salt (a vegan product), and the mayo also is meatless (though is probably not vegan, as mayo usually contains eggs. It comes in regular and light). So the bacon flavored mayo is actually not nearly as diet-unfriendly as you'd think. I think it still makes more sense to stir in a tsp of bacos into your regular or diet mayo.

My dear, you have a wonderful attitude! I get so tired of healthy food!

Actually, a couple of those things, the King Cake and rice krispie treat come to mind, aren't that bad for you. The King Cake just looks gross because of the frosting, but it's really a not-very-sweet bread made for Mardi Gras, and everyone knows rice krispie treats are pretty low-cal/low-fat.

Moderation! That's the key!

In different forms I ate all of those different things but not at the same time... some of it looked nasty like the "Garbage Plate" but that peanut butter brownie covered w/ cookie dough and deep fried... looked damn good. I dont know about you guys but there are a lot of Deep Fried Twinkies sold here in MO. ugh!!!!

Wow I think the first one was the kicker. The Chicken McNugget as a garnish - yikes!

The "Carny Casserole" made me giggle. I will have to tell my "carny" friends about that one...

for some reason I keep thinking about, the fry encased hotdog. It just looked really good to me, and I'm not sure why (I'm much of a hot dog or a french fry fan). It just seems to make as much, or even more sense than the corn dog.

Very amusing link - thanks!

I'm with kaplods, I just don't get the sweet-savory combinations. I love a great bacon cheeseburger, but that stuff is just too over-the-top for me!

Wow. Most of those things were HUGE! Probably the majority of them were pretty gross to me but there were a few that I wouldn't mind a bite of.

Note to Diet Police: I said a bite!

sadly i have eated fried smores on a stick and though i couldnt finish the whole thing it was yummy. I have also had cheesecake on a stick. Damn summer fairs. OOO deep friend twinkies and oreos are my weakness at summer festivals. Guilty of the mac & cheese on a stick as well. I can say that they all made me sick after eating them and i will never do it again. And besides the deep fried pb brownie i think it all looked repulsive and i might go vomit now.
