Hey Hotmama, welcome!

First off the swimsuit you want is super cute, great way to motivate yourself! 14 pounds in 11 weeks is definitely doable, I usually lose 1 pound a week unless I'm super on plan all week so if you put your mind to it I'm sure you'll do it.

Today is day 3 of level 1 on the 30ds for me. The other Melissa convinced me to try it and I'm quite sore in the quads so it's doing something, I'm really excited to see what happens over the course of 30 days.

Being accountable to others or at least having to admit when you blew it has helped me for sure! It will be great having another to join! I would like to hit 155 by April Fools Day at the latest. I have lots of muscle so I will be quite ripped there, can't wait!

I'm going out to dinner tonight... always a challenge! I have 700 calories left though so can't screw up too much haha!

Welcome HOTMAMA!!!

We definately like our tall girls haha! (we love you too shorties). The bikini is wicked hot. The other Melissa and I are shooting for posting bikini pics in the goal section when we hit our goals. AH! nerve racking, however it makes you want it just that much more!!

I agree Melissa, being accountable to someone has helped in a HUGE way. It makes you feel even more guilty for not doing what you know you should be doing.

I will say that I notice a slight difference already in my arms from 30DS. I noticed it this morning and was like "oh SNAP!' <--thats not what I really said, this is the PG version, lol! It is definately from all those darn push ups and side lunges which are so very painful haha! I am so excited to finally get this monkey off my back.

I found some cute bikini's from Victoria Secret that I have been eyeing. Seriously check out there selection. I know they are a little more on the expensive side, however I think we deserve it!!!!!!!

Thank you both!!

Yay for finding other tall girls!!!!

Yeah, being accountable totally helps me too! And I could have kicked myself last night because I had been OP ALL day (for the 4th day) and had even been able to enjoy dessert w/o going over my upper calorie limit but then at 11pm I ate two bowls of cereal! Ugh! I felt so sick and full afterwards so that was sufficient punishment. Bleh.

I LOVE VS bikinis! They are super cute and sexy. Sadly, my boobs don't fit in them. I was a D cup before my kids (natural, not implants) and they got ginormous while I was pregnant and now they're big and need lift/support so I can't wear the cute triangle tops and I spill out of the push up kind. Someday I'm getting a lift but I want more babies so I'm waiting!!

Ok, so what's a food you guys can enjoy that's low cal? For example, I love mixing lean ground turkey with Trader Joe's potato medley. I season it and it's filling and yummy and 300 calories (1 cup of medley + 1 turkey patty). For a treat I love Quakers "Quakes" rice cakes in caramel. They are SOOOOO yummy and 7 quakes have 60 calories. Plus, it gives me that satifying crunch and a mix of sweet and salty.

My other questions is, what's your biggest vice? If you save for a splurge or blow it, what are you gonna eat? I love chocolate chips (Nestle Semi Sweet). I honestly need a 12 step program for my addiction to them. I like melting butter on a flour tortilla, adding chocolate chips and warming it in the microwave. It makes a delicious little melty chocolate burrito!! Hehe. I am bad, I know. If I didn't care about my weight (or health), I'd cook like Paula Deen all the time!!

Ok, I'll be with you on the bikini pics posting!! But I've had 2 kids so I'm gonna have to be faithful to Ms Jillian so I tone up my tummy!!

1 slip up after 4 days of being good...I think your allowed that extra bowl of cereal my dear..haha

I love Quakers rice cakes, except I gravitate towards the cheddar or ranch kinds. They are so delicious!! I pre bag those just because I could seriously sit there and devour the entire bag!!! Hmm my favorite low calorie meal is Baked Salmon or Tilapia with lemon, served with a brown rice, and aperagraus~ MMMM

Lets see my biggest Vice would have to be cheese!! I could eat cheese every minute, every hour, of every day!!!! I love it!!! Everything when I was unhealthy--go figure--had cheese on it! LOL. As for a sweet sin I would say a hot fudge brownie sunday with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream and walnuts!!!!!! OMG! Do I ever miss those!

YAY! Watch out SPORTS ILLUSTRATED SWIMSUIT ISSUE cuz here we come!!!!!!!!!! BIKINI's in APRIL!

HAHA you two are too funny! Half the stuff yopu said I was like "yup me too"! There is a resturant by my house that has the BEST desserts ever... one happens to be a sweet tortilla like pastery stuffed with chocolate chips... sooooo sinful. Oh and my other favorite dessert there... the hot fudge brownie sunday! Lately I have been curing my sweet tooth with frozen yogurt, only 60 calories for a small, peanut butter and cheesecake are my favorite flavors.

I actually enjoy ALL food both the healthy and unhealthy kind so eating healthy isn't hard for me, it's limiting the bad stuff that others put in front of me that kills me. I LOVE this chili I make that is super healthy and delicious!

So we are all in for this bikini thing!?! YAY we can do it!

Seriously the hot fudge brownie with ice cream thing should never have been invented it is just WRONG! LOL.

Actually my friend makes a mean turkey chili that is really good for you as well. I actually prefer it to the other variations..weird. Same thing here, I like everything when it comes to food. I have always been a HUGE fan of veggies so that part doesn't hurt me. The thing that made me unheathy was fast food. I was a HUGE fan of McDonalds! But now I refuse to even step foot in the door of those places (or the drivethru). Never again!

But ladies we can definately do this Bikini Challenge! We are going to be some serious Hot Mama's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am going to have to get in a tanning bed so I don't blind everyone with my bright white skin I am sporting at the moment! LOL! I do live in New York and the sky's are grey for 8 months out of the year here LOL!

Hehe! Oh I have a brownie obsession too (and thats the name of the brownie dessert @ TGIF isn't it?)!! And I must try this tortilla like dessert! YUMMY!

mel: I hear ya on the tan!! I'm pretty fair skinned naturally but use this great sunless tanner from Giese (formerly Sun Lab). It's dark so you can see exactly where it's going and correct any mistakes before they dry. It makes you a few shades darker in one application. I reapply a couple times a week. Does wonders for stretch marks and is a big confidence booster!!

Ok, I've been eating horribly. Tomorrow is a new day and I'm going to eat well.
