Thumbs up new to site and this want a buddy:grouphug:.

I have been working out 4 days a week since May. I lost 18lbs. then quit smoking and gained the 18 plus 7 more lbs!!!! I am upset but I know I have the desire and will to change. I am starting this fat smash on 1-9-09. Going shopping today for groceries but want to know if anyone on here is still doing this or if anyone can be my weight loss buddy???

I've been roughly the same weight since the 8th grade...I'm 21 now and sick of it, but I have about 120 lbs to lose. I started on 1-8-09, first day was rough but today was a lot better. So we'll see!

yea the first day was really rough for me and I thought the weekend was going to be terrible cause I always snack but I have been snacking on healthy stuff instead yogurt fruit veges and of course lots of water. I feel like I am constantly eating so that is good cause I think of food constantly but then when I get it I shove it in my face Like i'm not getting anymore. it is crazy!!! my stomach hurt literally the first day man I thought If it is gonna be like this I am gonna die fat!!! but it did get better thank God!!! Thanks for responding!!!

Somehow I missed this question.

I am still fat smashing in phase II. I can see where people fall off of this, because after phase I, it doesn't feel like a plan, just better choices and some eliminations.

I am still hanging in there and hope to continue.

Today is my 1st day on Ph 1...so far, not too bad. I had a banana for breakfast & then spent half the day grocery shopping. I just ordered the book last night so I have a question about beans...how many servings per day can you have? what is considered a serving for the purposes of FS? I LOVE great northern & pinto beans so I want to make sure I don't over do it!
