I still struggle with this, too. It's not easy to deal with life head on. Now I can't run away from my feelings as much -- I have to cope with them.

I still eat because of stress sometimes -- just much less than I used to, and when I do eat, I eat a lot less. I can usually catch myself before it goes too far.

I think I'm in the minority on 3FC in that I'm not a stress or emotional eater. The times I want the most to, say, go on a Taco Bell run and order 15 tacos is when I allow myself to get ravenously hungry so that I don't care how unhealthy the food is as long as I EAT it.

When I get stressed, I do sometimes turn to a glass of wine. Or my bed. Or a rerun of the The Simpsons. Or all three
