Ana,

The thing with LAWL that ppl don't like is the sale of products motivates SOME Cod's to be driven toward sales. The truth is that LAWL does work BUT it requires a life change. We can't lose our weight, get to our goals then go back to our oreo and Mcd's lifestyle and think we will keep the weight off.

I am rather new to the plan (been on since April but took a 2 month summer break) but I have family members that have gotten to their goals, continued to eat clean and remained at their goal weight.

I wish you great luck. And remember you will go up and down but it is the finish line you are looking toward. Maybe you won't lose huge amounts right away or even all the time but even .5 lb off is an improvement!

Hi Tan and Michelle,

Yes, I am really liking this plan and enjoying eating the variety of food that was completely missing in my pre-lawl days. I had posted this message when I was thinking that just like all the other diets that did not work for me, this will also not work. But, I have been pleasantly surprised and have been loosing at a good pace, so I am not doubtful anymore and this site is a great support system and place to find answers, I really appreciate your taking time to answer and tell from your experience.

I am not having the pushy sales pitch problem at my COD, I just said I am not interested in those products and I would not like to be pushed and so far they have not been pushing it, so thats very good.

Ana

I have been on LAWL for 10 days and at the end of my first seven days, I had lost 2.8 lbs. That doesn't seem like a lot compared the others on this thread, but for me, it means that my size 14 jeans can now zip up! That's a huge thing for me, as I've been too cheap to buy new clothes. If me, the undisciplined procrastinator can do it, so can anyone!

I lost 2.4 in my first week. I am still losing but it seems a lot slower. I'm in week 4 now and have lost 4.8 so far. I guess it's good that I'm losing and not gaining, I just get a little disappointed that it's not coming off faster.
