Cool What can I eat at Chili's for lunch?

Help, please. This is my first meal out on induction - lunch today at Chili's ...I checked DWL restaurant listing. Looks as if an expensive (and not so excellent) broiled steak may be my best choice. Any suggestions? Obviously - no big blues for me. Thanks!

Chilis has a great guiltless grill menu. The salmon with veggies might be a great way to get your omega 3 in as well as staying on Atkins.

The grilled salmon from the guiltless menu comes with black beans..be sure to skip those. Other options include cesar salad with grilled shrimp or grilled chicken, no croutons and ask for dressing on the side. Steak or chicken fajita's minus the tortilla with guacamole & sour cream or there's always a burger sans the bun with steamed veggies or a side salad instead of fries.

Cool Lunch at Chili's

Great suggestions; I'm thinking steak or chicken fajitas. I had a burger patty last night for dinner. Maybe the chicken. Side salad or steamed veggies depending on what they are...problem solved!

This will be interesting. My lunch companion picked the spot and is a former eating buddy (former as of this week!). I'll have to break the news to her that I've sworn off the tubby. Thanks.

If you do the fajitas, skip the tortillas.

Cool Skip the tortilla and...

Yes, snapless, I'll be skipping the tortilla and the guacomole. I hate avocados - one of the very few things I don't like. I plan to eat them with sour cream. Thanks.

Cool Success at Chili's

Thanks to everyone who supported me in the Chili's challenge...I had unsweetened iced tea and an order of chicken fajitas - minus tortillas, minus guacomole. Lots of veggies - green pepper, onion, tomato, lettuce, grilled portobello mushrooms and sour cream. It was delicious; I didn't have to cook it, and I brought at least half home with me.

And I found Ketostix at CVS. They looked at me as if I were nuts at my local drugstore (although the young lady was new and looked none too bright). So, Yay!
