I can't remember if it's "allowed" on P1 or not - I don't think it is... but I can't find out for sure...

I don't think there's an official Dr. A position on this for any phases, but those of us that use it have just decided that it's okay for us on Ph2 and doesn't cause any cravings. However, I would avoid it on Ph1 - I would think it would affect you in the same way fruit does.

Agave nectar comes from the agave plant, which is a fruit. Therefore it should be avoided on Phase 1.

I agree with cottage. I've used stevia on P1 with no ill side effects. No gas and no cravings. Double win!

This reminds me though, I need to get some agave nectar for P2
