Hi everyone! I really don't feel up to sitting at the computer for very long, but I wanted to at least pop in and say HI! My knee is really sore today. I am about to have a snack and some of my pain meds--which will then lead to a nap!!

Earlier I made some mac and cheese w/ whole wheat pasta; roasted broccoli, cauliflower, and baby bella mushrooms. It is for dinner tomorrow--I will bake it tomorrow, but it smells SO good!

Hope everyone is doing well. Welcome back Sara!!!!

Hate that!

Do you have any calories left for today?? If you do...go and make yourself a healthy snack. If not, maybe a nice hot cup of herbal tea?

Sending you strength!! :

I am telling you, air popped popcorn has SAVED MY PLAN more times than I can count. I make a ton of it, and I can satisfy the munchies for a long time and get some extra fiber in to boot!

But if there's no room in your plan today, you don't NEED a snack, you just have the munchies. Your mouth is hungry, not your stomach!

Yep...I agree Popcorn is the best!

I eat it almost every night. It's just barely over 100 calories per ounce (unpopped). Some nights I'll make 3 oz., it makes a huge bowl, and I sprinkle it with white cheddar popcorn seasoning.

Good stuff!

I hope you made it through the munchies okay txmomma...those are horrible! I go for a hot bath sometimes, or will get in an extra workout. Sweating almost always makes the munchies go away.

Everyone, i am here but it's been insanely busy in our house, hubby is home and we are starting home renovation projects, and I have had a headache all day. Eating has been very naughty and exercise minutes few and far between.

This is how I gain weight back. Things get busy around me and I stop caring for ME, so I decided I am fixing that now, before it is too late. Tomorrow I go back to my exercise schedule, even with hubby here and even if he has to wait for me to do something. The kids wait, so can he. I have been telling myself I'll do it at night when they all go to bed, but I have been so exhausted I just fall into bed right with them. So tomorrow I'm up early to exercise and head out to shop for some new jeans that fit I can't wait to shop for myself for once....JcPenney is having a sale and I plan on getting some new workout shoes as well. It's back to putting myself at the top of the priority list. I will NOT allow the fat to slip back on because we are doing these projects.

mmm, popcorn is so good! The calories can sneak up on you with microwave popcorn. Maybe someday I can get an air popper... for now I get the "Smart Pop" kettle corn, usually.

purple: you can do it! Hopefully your family will understand how important this is for you and even try to help you when/if they can! At least be encouraging. You can do it!

I drug a friend to the mall today to get some jeans that fit...I have been wearing my 20s and they are literally falling off. I was hoping to be in an 18 but I am in a 16 I wasn't expecting that at all! Honestly, I was afraid the 18 wouldn't even fit. They are just a perfect fit, small amount of room in the waist and no extra room in the crotch where I normally buy them too big. It was fun shopping with my friend, and she showed me that the ones I would normally have bought were too big!

This was the motivation I need to get tough on myself again. i'm going to exercise right now
