Does anyone know why Shesaninja keeps posting nothing but numbers in the New here intro thread? I find it weird.

Yes, finally got it back all fixed. Turned out that Norton Antivirus was the culprit - it locked me out of the internet! Took an IT pro to figure out how to unistall it completely! Think I'll try to do without it for a while.

TGIF - happy weekend gals!

Red face

I hate when that happens. When I installed Windows XP service pack 2 a while back that happened to me. Anywho, as far as virus protection goes I put AVG in the google search and download their free Virus protection and I swear I have no problems at all.

BTW. I ordered YOAD today from Amazon! YAY!!! Can't wait til it gets here.

Y'all have a wounderful weekend!

Okay.....where is everyone at? I fell off the exercise band wagon last Tuesday but got right back on Wednesday....today is day 7!!!! I haven't lost and I haven't gained. I emailed an expert and told him how many calories and what my exercise routine entailed and he stated that I am not eating enough good calories and not drinking enough water. Trying to work on increasing that this week.....sounds like a piece of cake?...........not really.

I'm here, but work has me so buried I have no time to be online! And at night, the computer is the last thing I want to look at!

Good job on that exercise - 7 days in a row is great!

How'd everyone else's weekends go?

I'm doing well with my food, but still no exercise

What are you gals planning on doing for Super Bowl Sunday? I plan to dig out last years thread about it and bump it up - I already read through it, but would like to come up with new ideas.

Hi everyone! Sorry I've been away so long. Between work, classes, and my little dude, I hardly have time to breathe! We're starting to get ready for his 1st birthday party in two weeks.

CONGRATULATIONS DIVA!!! I got married this past October, and I'm all for comfortable shoes. My dress was floor-length so I just got wore ballet shoes (not ballet flats, but actual ballet shoes) and it was great. You're going to look beautiful!!! I'm so excited for you!

I'm restarting YOAD at the end of this week. This time I'm getting smarter, and I got a copy of the Beck diet solution (cognitive behavioral therapy) to help me stay on the plan like a grown-up. She advocates spending the first two weeks just getting ready, so I'm doing the whole thing day by day before really engaging with the food plan.

Congrats to everyone who's rocking their exercise plans! I've committed to walk/run a half marathon in May and training officially started last week. (so good to finally be over that &%*&ing sinus infection!!!). Wish me luck!

Cheers all!

Hey everyone,
Im still working the program...food is good and exercise is still on track. I journal what I do each day and so far this month Ive only missed 3 days. Some of the days I did tai ji I also walked so it sort of made up for those days off..in my mind anyways. haha
This weekend I joined a small challenge to get thru the weekend without a gain..and I did it. Im working hard to keep the loss off till my weigh in on thursday and then have another OP weekend. Its just too frustrating to lose,,then gain on the weekend...then have to lose it agin plus take a friend or two with it...its like yo yoing..and working twice as hard to get this weight off. Once is hard enough.....
Diva glad you getting the book.it will open your eyes believe me..
Cindy its just another day for me..im not into football and niether is dh thank god!
Kim sounds funny dosnt it..but you really do need to keep up a certain amount of calories or your body goes into starvation mode and starts to hoard the calories you eat. Eat enough to lose weight..who would have thunk it!@!

Hey everyone! still waiting for me book...sigh... I am not the most patient person so I am getting a little ill since it was supposed to be here yesterday. I'm doing ok staying OP but I have screwed up a couple of days, and exercise? forget about it! LOL! I DID do exercises during the commercial breaks watching The Biggest loser last night. That was fun and I worked up a good little sweat. Also ordered the Jillian Micheals 5 DVD exercise thinga-ma-jig, so she will be kicking my real soon!

I have gotten them eating mostly what I do for dinner now. I will fully convert them one day! Jess did good last night. he watched TBL with me and was acting like Jillian when I was exercising. it was funny!
