October goal = 1500 minutes, including weights & strength 2-3 times/wk and cardio 5-6 days/wk

Oct 1 - 22 min. running, 28 min. walking, 60 min. weights & strength = 110 min
Oct 2 - 20 min. running, 35 min. walking = 55 min.
Oct 3 - 20 min. running, 30 min. walking, 45 min w/s = 95 min.
Oct 4 - nada (I would call it a planned rest day but I was just lazy)
Oct 5 - 20 min. running, 65 walking, 50 min w/s, 7 min. biking = 142 min.

Total so far: 402 min.

Hi..I'm new here as I've said in the other threads I posted in today here. I had already challenged myself this month so I'll hop right in here and join ya.

My challenge was to get in no less than 10,000 steps a day, walk the fitness trail here everyday with my son--about 2 1/2 miles average so far, do my gazelle 2x a day in 30 min. sessions, weight train 3x a week, do 2 sets of 500 crunches a day and 30 mins of pilates/ball work and try and learn something new--which is why I got a Tae-bo video this week. And to also drink lots and lots of water, I'm not liking it, but I am doing it. So far so good. Good luck to all of you.

Default Better late than never....

My challenge involves 30 minutes of cardio every day, training arms and abs on Tuesdays and Thursdays, training legs on Mondays and Wednesdays, maybe even Sundays.

October 24th 50 minutes cardio, 10 minutes weight training
October 25th 50 minutes cardio, 10 minutes weight training + 30 crunches

Okay so I've got three days left to do 100 min cardio, 25 min flex and 115 min strength. Difficult especially considering this is a weekend but I will do my best.

Let's see...today if I do 30 min LB and 25 min Pilates plus some cardio, tomorrow 30 min Abs plus my long run and Monday 30 min UB and 30 min Abs plus a run I should be able to reach my goals. How's about the rest of you? Don't let this weekend thing slow you down!

Well, this month was off exercise-wise. I'm not going to make my goal of 1800 minutes unless I get in about 400 minutes of exercise today, which is doubtful! But, after a very bad start to the month, I am starting to get on track more. I could have just given up after my first pitiful week, but I guess the good thing is I kept going, even though I didn't meet my goal.

Well it looks like i didn't meet my goal, but i did set it pretty high.
I'm still very happy about sticking to it, and doing what i could. I did 3 TIMES as much as last month. It just keeps getting better. I lost 3 pounds [that i gained by the end of last month] so i'm happy about that.

I can NOW fit back into one of my skirts i haven't been able to button in a YEAR!.
I've very proud of what i did, even though my goal wasn't met. I'm getting more flexible and i'm seeing results. I can't WAIT for the November Challenge to start! I'm ready!

I'm not going to wait around for New Years to make the resolution to get in shape and be healthy. I'm going to accomplish it BEFORE new years hits.

Congrats Liz!

I hope so, these challenges really keep me going. If it's not up by tomorrow I guess we can just start it and ask it to be made into a sticky!
