I was crunching some numbers earlier and I've lost 33% of my body weight so far and I've lost 75% of the weight I set out to lose to reach 140.
I tried on a size 12 dress the other day at a Very Nice Store (one of the one's where everything runs small) and it just fit beautifully - I loved it. BUT I didn't buy it, because before to long, it wouldn't fit anymore. Maybe I'll buy it in a size 6 someday...
Anyways, just wanted to share some happy news... hope someone else has some good news to share as well!
Another one: I haven't been doing the "fat girl tugging" (trying to make my clothes hide the parts of my body I'm least comfortable with) on my clothes nearly as much.
lol, fat girl tugging!! i love that. Jenicra, you really have come SO FAR. you are such an inspiration.
every day is a non scale victory for me (i dont have too many "scale" victories, lol). But the best thing is that I am getting stronger. When I first started weight training, I couldn't do crunches on the ball because it made me want to die. Now I can do alot more before getting tired. yaay!
Yea Megan! Crunches on the ball are painful! I can only do like a dozen and I'm dead for like a week...
I just got back from my run - and not only did I beat my previous best time, but I finished a 5k run in under 30 minutes as well! My new PB is 29:58!
rock jenicra! yay megan! .... fat girl tugging. hehe (raises hand) im guilty! ive developed the fat tugging dance... lmao. when u have to jump and tugg to keep your pants on b/c the belt just isnt helping. lmao lololol. (im stubborn i wont buy new clothes, im just trying to get skinny enough to fit into my skinny clothes.) lolol ohhh if only the giggles would stop.
My current non-scale victory...not eating all the chocolate, cake, pie, christmas candy, etc that is EVERYWHERE at my office! I have gone the entire week and only had one slip up yesterday afternoon (woops!) BUT not that bad considering how much worse I have been in the past!!
I'm pretty sure that if a snowman cried for too long, he'd melt himself - don't you think?
Michelle - that's so awesome - those office treats sure are hard to pass up!
