I know that the Valentine's Day Challenge isn't quite up yet, but I've been thinking about my entrance into Onederland for a few days now and have decided that if I'm there be April 1, I'll reward myself with a session with a personal trainer at the gym on campus. I peeked at the scale this morning, and I was at 216, so I think I can make it if I work hard. Anyone else ready for the next mini-challenge?
Count me in! Not knowing my weight loss was about to slow down dramatically, the V-day challenge has been sort of a bust for me. BUT, I like the timing of the April Fool's Day challenge (though my final weighin will probably be Fri. Apr. 2)....I'm going home to my family again right after that (for my spring break/Easter)! So, let's see, realistically....I'm 173 right now, so by the time I leave for my spring break trip (which is actually April 3), I want to be at: 164. Yes, this is what I will strive for!!! (-;
Count me in too! I really need a challenge to get me moving again...I started loosing weight on Nov 24 03 and I currently lost 24 lbs my starting weight was 282 and I currently weight 258.
My goal for the April Fool's Day Challenge would be to weigh 240 doesthat sound realistic? think so...

Payne: It depends on where you're at in your weight loss. It looks like you have lost quite a bit so far. Has your weight loss slowed since you started? I think the healthy amount to lose is 1-2 pounds per week, but sometimes I can't even count on that!!
I'll join in! My V-Day Challenge was also a big bust! I'll aim for 172. I've got to get to losing again!! That might be a bit steep, but I've got to have something to work towards.
I am IN... I haven't been on this thread for a while...but would love to be in on this one. I did a V-Day challenge on another board and actually gained 3 pounds. I have hit my stand still and haven't lost for about 3 weeks now.
My weight goal is to go from 185 to 175, that should be a realistic goal.
My personal exercise goal, is to
1) keep going 5 days a week for 30 minutes minimum.
2) Increase running from 3 miles to 5 miles a day.
Hope this challenge will be better than the last one!!
Can I join in on this challenge? I would like to lose 8# by April Fools Day. I reached Lifetime two weeks ago and have been so bad ever since...I am starting back on track tomorrow morning (Going out for Mexican food tonight) I need a challenge and encouragment!
Thanks Jen... It's nice to be back. I was on the WW board a lot the last little while trying to keep me on track there, which I was, BUT I still didn't lose with them. I definately need the young girls around me! Much more active and it keeps me going!! So I am back!! and I need the support to keep me going. I just can't lose anything. I know the winter doesn't help much. But I have been working out 5 days a week and I am tighter, but no loss...not even inches... so I am going to try my best for April...
I am ready to begin this challenge today! Let's go girls! I got that Mexican food craving out of my system last night-I didn't have a margarita, but I did have a Corona Light with lime (yum! and worth 2 points!) Good luck all!
