1yr2 I understand you're really angry at yourself and you want to do well, but binge exercising to "punish" yourself is never a good idea. Punishing yourself in any way is always a really bad idea because it will most likely backfire. Instead, just go back to your normal routine, no need to do anything crazy to "make up". Think of going back into your routine as a reward instead to your body and mind and proof of your dedication.

lol! I totally realized that this morning! Haha! I did a double workout yesterday and at the end of the day I was sooo tired! I though to myself, maybe I'll do one and a half workouts tomorrow instead of the full two But then this morning I deceided that maybe yesterday was punishment enough My body is super tired after an entire night of sleep!

I'm calling this a failed experiment and today I shall only do what had laways been in the plans.

Thanks!

So I just had to share! This week I experimented with not counting cals and not weighing myself everyday because I was starting to drive myself crazy and I totally lost 3lbs! So I think I'm going to keep this up. Also made my size goal of a size 6 yessss

Dott that's awesome! Congrats!! I would love to be able to ignore the scale, but unfortunately it's the first place I've been running every morning for the past couple weeks.

Aw thanks guys so much I couldn't do any of it without all the awesome support I get from this forum

katiekish it nearly killed me staying away from the scale but so good mentally. I would highly suggest you just give it a try, or maybe not weigh in everyday, because I know for me seeing those fluctuations is just depressing and I get so obsessed with losing I lose sight of the long term and end up getting depressed about it all.

For the rest of us ladies, if you haven't already visited the Goal thread, you have to go and see it! There is one in particular that is titled something like "clear throat... and GOAL!" (not sure the title's right, but if you look you'll find it on the first page), and it's super inspiring!!! Good luck to all of us as we head into the second half of the challenge!!! Don't lose your motivation!!!

Heading into the last month now! How is everyone doing? I wasn't around as much due to a visitor but I'm ready to get back on track! Enjoy the last month everyone.

Dreamer School has made getting exercise really hard for me I think I've finally figured something out though....but so far I've lost more weight in this challenge then any of the previous ones so in a way I feel really good because I've FINALLY gotten my eating in order. Only took 7 months haha

I dislike Halloween so I've no crazy plans. I think I'm in college that day. I'm involved with two charities and for one, one of the ideas is to dress up in college on Halloween and do fundraisers. Sounded like a brilliant idea at the time. Now as it draws closer, I'm getting increasing embarrassed!

How about everyone else?

I wouldn't... Though I find that three month challenges are a little tough... Most people lose interest after a while, or when motivation slips, they kind of give up on whatever time is left.

I was thinking of posting a month by month challenge. I posted one for October (though didn't really keep up with it 'cause my October was crazy) BUT I'm thinking I'll post a new one for November...

Maybe if you post one for Nov/Dec it'll be two months and will take people to the new year, then a Jan/Feb/March challenge might work well...

Anyway, I'm just thinking out loud. Obviously, post whichever one you prefer
