you're really strong and way better than me because if any of those things had happened to me, i can't say my quick retorts and loud voice wouldn't have gotten the better of me. you're better than that though and you're doing it for you so HECK YEAH, KEEP IT UP!!
Usually I'm a mouthy madam aswell! So I no what you mean but for once I was rendered speechless my weight is the only thing that I'm super sensitive about so that why I think!!
Thanks for all the support guys <3
whenever i start to feel down on myself i pacify myself with "THIS IS ONLY TEMPORARY"... because i'm trying and i'm making progress, no matter how fast or slow.
people are idiots. and they are probably the same type of people who will feel compelled to cat call at you later down the road..guaranteed!
its hard, but you just have to keep trucking, because all this negativity is only temporary, you're getting closer to your goal!
Welcome and good luck.Try not to let rude and ignorant people get you down. It is obvious these guys were raised with no manners, or as someone has said maybe they really are idiots !
I think what you have to remember is not how much you weigh NOW but how much you're going to weigh when you complete your goal. Sure, people can heckle you all they want, but you know in your heart that you're not going to be that way for long because you're going to be focused and determined and reach your goal.
I never really got called fat, but I knew people were thinking it when I would walk around with my thin friends and my in shape boyfriend. I felt so out of place! But once I started eating better and exercising I felt confident about everything - not because I thought I was super sexy all of a sudden but I just KNEW that it wasn't going to be this way forever!
Now, I'm actually normal looking, people say that I'm skinny and "you're wasting away!" So chin up, hun, you'll get there just like I did! Your attitude is spot on, don't let any arse hole get in your way!
Kerry, I am so sorry you had to experience such hurtful things and it is sad no one ever considers the struggle others may be going through. But use those nasty words as fuel for the fire in your journey to success. You are beautiful and these people are insignificant. Losers, actually!
Dang. What jerks. As my mother would say "don't let someone like that take up valuable space in your head". My response would have been more like "I can lose weight, but you'll always be an a-hole". Either way, you're beautiful and they're idiots!!!
