Finally back to losing, at 153.5 lb this morning.

valalltogether, I think we are in the same boat. I ate out too much this week, and even though I mostly made good choices, its so much easier when I have control.

150.7lbs. I need to lose 35lbs. I'm hoping this new medication, metformin will help aid in the process.

Val, Flash, Philana, Torito - THANKS!!!
Rainy - I'll take that party! I can't believe how well you are doing :-) Almost in the 140s.....you and Torito are SUPER close! And you lost another 10 lbs since I threw your last party.
Unstoppable - welcome back!
And hi to everybody else on the forum - doing a quick post, so I didn't get to survey everything.

So, I have been feeling like I should look better than I do now after losing the weight. I think someone else said it - "i thought i looked better the last time i was at this weight"....I can totally relate.

Now - having said that, I really feel like the next 5-7 lbs is going to make a big difference in my clothes, and how I look...it's actually a really positive feeling, like I'm right on the cusp.

HAPPY ST. PADDY's DAY...after a heavy night/day of studying on planning on getting a couple beers.

New to this thread (and the forum).

Weighed in at 152.3 this morning. SO excited! I haven't been this weight, or at a healthy BMI, for at least two years now. It feels so good to have accomplished this. Now, I'm looking forward to getting out the 150s. I want to do that by the end of the month, if not sooner

Haven't weighed myself since the last time I posted in this thread... but I would like to report I've lost 0.5 lb! I'm 154.3lb now. I'm so happy! I'm excited to lose the next 0.5lb because it means I can finally break into the 60s (in terms of kilos) which is my Feb/Mar/Apr 90-day exercise challenge goal! Exciting times!

philana Thank you! I think Bikini challenge is a great way to make you stay on track. Plus I love the hard work Riestrella puts in it, making weekly charts and stuff it's all pretty cool. And ugh I hate water weight! It makes me so paranoid that I've gained weight or something when I've probably just ate something salty/bad.

flashfacts

rainydays Thank you!!

GoingforGold I was at a bar yesterday for St. Paddy's Day, had to restrict myself to just one drink so I won't pile on the calories! Hope yours went well. And I completely agree with you on the whole "next 5-7 lb is going to make a big difference in my clothes" thing. I'm almost the same height as you and I feel like my clothes fit better more noticeably now the more I lose weight in the 150s. Good luck to us!

Flashfacts – yay for losing again!
Allison – welcome!
Rainydays – you can do it. You’re so close! Hope you feel better soon
GoingForGold – it was me who said that, so I know exactly what you’re talking about I’m sure those lbs are gonna make a huge difference though
Sliced – welcome!
Em – congrats on the loss and goal!
Sparkle – woo! 140s! That’s awesome
Kindred – that’s awesome

I have never bounced around on the scale like I have lately. I’ve been up and down since last Thursday, up one day, down the next, and then back up. I don’t know what’s going on so I’m getting frustrated. It is TOM next week so I’m just holding strong that it’ll all be worked out in 2 weeks. Haven’t been able to cross the 150 mark either, so close though.

I'm at/around 141 for 5 days now. And I know I've created a deficit of atleast 3000 calories in those 5 days. Oh well. Eventually it will go down. LOL. I started 2hrs of exercise a day yesterday. Burned about 900 calories. Today I'm going swimming for an hour and running again so should burn about the same. Exciting! Want to keep it up for atleast a week and then evaluate.

torito: oh that is annoying, I've never had a very accurate scale so I was always guessing. Now that I do, it's more obvious when your weight bounces around. And I share your grief. lol.

kindred: I hope you reach your goal! Though if you don't that's not a shame, the closer to goalweigt the harder it can get.

I'm currently reading as 157 but I'm not so sure that figure is right. I was 160 last week and I've been eating all sorts of random things since then so I'm like, "Really? 3 pounds?" My trainer thinks it's possible that I lost 2 and that 1 is just from random fluctuations so we'll see next week. Hopefully I'll be moving in here shortly.

hey everyone! i'm excited to finally be in this thread after breaking out of the 160s!

i've been fluctuating at 159 all week, so i'm hoping to see 158 or lower soon. i haven't been this weight since around 4 years ago. it's the lowest weight i've been in a long time, but i'm hoping to break through this wall and set a new record for myself.
