the scale didn't move at all.. 0.0lbs. So I need to make sure I eat more vegetables and exercise better and drink more water and eat less sodium.

Ok, if this can stay alive until the end of the year then I can hit my goal! I know I'm a bit late, but it's ok. I'm going to hit goal before the end of the year so I can buy a cute dress and insist we go somewhere for New Year's! So we'll put me at 189 right now and I'd like to be under 150 for end of year. So let's say 40 lbs down to 149. Rock on!

ps - if someone wants to add me to the spreadsheet, that'd be great. I can't access it. =/

It was acting a bit funny earlier but try again if you aren't up there already!

Ugg haven't lost in 1.5 weeks. I'm hovering right between 206/207. These are the times I find the hardest to stay on plan because of the "well it's not working anyway" mentality.

I've been pretty good - nothing over ~1500 calories except for about one day a week, and nothing over 2k on the splurge days. I have a wedding I'm in on Sunday so I pretty much plan to splurge there, but it won't be "terrible" since it's a morning wedding and there's no alcohol. However, peanut butter/chocolate cake will be had.

Anyway, just disappointed in the scale lately. I "felt thin" this morning, but nope, 207.2.

Also.. I'm not exercising.. so I don't think it's muscle gain.

Edited to add - I did have a moment of weakness where I ate a 950 calorie sandwich (....), but that still only put me at 1500 for the day.

By 1/10th of a pound, im currently the lowest weight i remember weighing in a few years yay! 140.9, some of you guys probly saw me mention it on another thread but for the past week i've been scale-less so i couldnt weigh in and when that happend i was staying stuck at 144 even, and now im glad to see i've lost 3 pounds since then. hopefully, i dont get in another rut like that (as small as it was) anytime soon... less than a pound away from the 130's!

I'm eating 2 meals a day from BistroMD meal delivery, and then typically one not BMD - usually a salad or a sandwich; I have to eat out a fair bit for work lunches but I've been good about checking calorie counts before / after and keeping track of it so there's no "surprises".

Snacks range from pickled peppers to sometimes Atkins shakes if I need something sweet.

It's pretty much the same thing I've been doing while I was losing.. soo not sure what the difference is.

my2cats- Maybe you just need to change it up a bit. My doctor had told me to go have a little deficit for a couple days if I see myself stalling with the weight loss. What is an Atkins shake?

It's a semi-low-cal shake promoted by the Atkins diet. I drink them because I like the taste and it's 160 calories, but I'm not on the Atkins diet, just cal counting.

I may trying going into a bit of a deficit.. I'm only at 700 for the day so far so if I eat a regular dinner I'll end up 1100 or so. Being tall-ish I sometimes wonder if 1200 is really a good "minimum" target for calories or if I should be more.. but then I figure they're telling a 6ft guy the same thing, so probably so.

So I actually went back and looked at my SparkPeople account that has weight data for the past 4 years (sigh, yoyo dieting). It seems like this is the weight I usually crap out at - actually more like 203 or 204. Kind of eye opening when I look at the data over 4 years.

The notable exception was when I started my new job 3 years ago and lost 20 pounds in a month (primarily due to stress I stopped eating almost entirely), I dropped down to 193. But popped back up the low 200s within a few months.

So this is my resolution.. I know this is going to be a tough stretch for me. Maybe this is my first 'natural' plateau or weight resting level. I'll stick with it, try calorie cycling if I don't see any more movement in a week or two.. and I'll be starting racquetball in 3 weeks, so that'll be adding some exercise.

I can do this.. not going to get stuck like the last times. (facepalm)

Edited to add - I feel like I've been having more cravings lately too. I don't know if it's PMS or my body is hitting the % lost where it goes "oh crap, what's happening?" and starts immediately demanding pizza.

Not to spam, but I thought I'd add a more upbeat post.

Last couple of days have been going better - I was down to 205.4 yesterday! So, not a total stall, or I've squeaked past it for now.

I'm also happy because I'm in a wedding this weekend and will be seeing a lot of friends I haven't seen in 1-2 years. Since my current weight is on the low end of that time period (and my high weight my highest ever), I'm really glad I won't be wondering if they're noticing how fat I got. 'Cause I'll probably look about the same as when they left!

It'd be more awesome to have visibly lost some weight, but I'm content to just not feel excessively fat and awkward.

I'm on here everyday, but I never seem to catch the beginning of a challange! Well, I'd like to add myself to this one, if it's all right with you! I'm aiming to be under 200lbs by New Year, although with the rate of loss/calorie deficit I'm averaging with my bodybugg, I should be down to 186. But I will be happy enough if 2011 is the last time I see 200+!

One quick question- the week 6 weigh in is on Sunday, correct? I noticed a few people have logged already. Does it vary?

You can hop in at any time! Weigh in can happen any day, I know everyone has different days so just pop in your weight under the right week and all is well.
