Default New Years Plans?

I'm not sure what I'm doing yet BUT I have NEVER been 'out' on NYE ... always done stuff at home and this year I want to go OUT. And I want to look HOT!
I want to find something to wear but I'm not sure what yet. Any one have plans yet? Know what you're wearing yet? ... Am I planning too far ahead?

There's no such thing as planning too far ahead

I threw a big party last year and I'm planning on doing the same thing this year. I like to get dressed up on NYE so it's always a fancy party. I usually wear a cocktail dress (this is last year's at the end of the party lol), tights, heels, jewelry, the whole sha-bang. And I do my hair all nice and pretty. But I never really need an excuse to get dressed up lol!

Charlotte Russe and Forever21 has some great affordable dresses that you could rock if you're going out

platformnine- I would LOVE to go to a swanky NYE party. That would be like my dream New years. lol

I usually go out and do something but I don't think it's going to happen this year. We might go downtown at watch the fireworks but I hate the drunks and the traffic. The last time we did that I passed a bunch of puking people and flashing drunk girls. So not my scene. This is why I crave a sophisticated party. LOL

I bought myself a dress to wear on NYE the other day, but I'm not sure if I have plans yet! I say not sure because I have a friend who usually throws a NYE get together, but I'm not sure what she's doing this year. I'm hoping she does have a party though, so I don't have to make plans, they'll just be made for me haha.

If you're going out, the best and funnest things to wear are sparkly things. Sequined tops, shoes, bags, and fun jewelry! Forever 21 has a lot of that stuff right now and it's pretty inexpensive. I've always gone to local bars and that's always a ton of fun because there aren't that many people there and one year, me and my friends pretty much had the place to ourselves. There were maybe 20 other people there.

The thing about NYE though, is don't get too hyped up over it. It can lead to disappointment... it's happened to me and it sucks.

I am definitely keeping it quiet this year. I really Love celebrating New Years, and usually do, but with me not having a job, the budget is going to be too tight... My only REAL requirement is that I get to kiss my wonderful Boyfriend at midnight. That I WILL get to do, so I am good.

I think we have decided to go to a local bar (it's in a bowling alley actually ) It should be fun. They do a moonlight bowling thing so there will be a lot of people there for that. We have a band that we 'follow' and they will be playing at the bar that night there so I think we're gonna go see them. I feel a little strange getting super fancy for a bowling alley bar BUT it's NYE! I'm sure every one else will be all dudded up too! Now just to find something to wear.
We don't have a Forever 21 in town here. I'm sure I can find something sparkly somewhere though haha.

You could shop their online store, they're having crazy sales (like free shipping!) up until Christmas! I'd go with a sparkly top, some dark rinse/black skinny jeans and some killer heels!

i'm gonna be flying over the ocean, and my new year's eve will be disappearing through time as i'm leaving home on dec. 31st and landing in japan on jan. 1st. yup.

i'd love to go to a swanky party for NYE! but that's never happened, haha... usually clubbin or family parties... the craziest thing i've ever done was a big giant rave of like 15 000 people on the NYE of 2000. craziness. lol. aaah, man i'm so old, hahaha....

I'm thinking I'm just doing the family party deal. A lot of our family friends and friends of mine from highschool do swanky Christmas parties so I will get to get my swankiness on then. Then the next day I'm off to watch the new man candy play football in his bowl game in Orlando. Fun stuffs.
