Default Recap/recapture Our Goals!!!

I know there was a thread a few weeks back about goals and ambitions but I feel that these are things that we should keep at the forefront of our minds and be constantly working towards achieving. So, I decided to post this thread. This is not about new years resolutions it's about things that you want to achieve in life and the steps you need to take to make those things happen NOW.

Who wants to be the first to post their goals?! weight related, goals for life, family, personal growth, whatever you want to achieve.

Here's a little will power dust. dont be shy! this is the place where you can dream big and we can push and encourage you to make those dreams a reality.

aaaand...go!

Ooooooo Calisa your goals sound so enriching!

Ok I want to lose 40 lbs and then re-evaluate to see if that's a healthy weight or if I should lose more (I was at 185 but I have a large bone structure). Other than that I just want to cultivate happiness in my life. To enrich myself personally at every opportunity!

I'm excited to hear all of your goals!

I would like to:

1. Graduate on June 27th, 2010!
2. Lose those pesky extra 60lbs!
3. Get into the police.

My goals seem so shallow compared to calisa86's....

Graduating? Getting into the police? Losing 60 lbs! Doesn't sound a bit shallow to me girlie.

My goals:
1) Lose the next 20 lbs and re-evaluate the next 20 after that.
2) Stop trying to ease my boredom with online shopping. Need to save my money for post-goal shopping!
3) Start working out 5 days a week.
4) Become a cupcake baking master! I am converting the need to feed myself goodies into a need to feed others goodies.

Ok, here we go.

*Lose this weight once and for all and be happy with my new body.
*Finally buy clothes that accent my figure and help me look good.
*Finish my class so I can make more money.
*Support my hubby through all the classes he'll be taking so that we can settle down and have children together.
*Save money, gosh darn it. We have it to save and forget to put it away, I need to SAVE!
*Buy a house. (This won't be for a little while, but it's still a goal.)

I didn't number mine because they are in no particular order... I have many, many more as well but I don't want to take the space to list them all here. I wish you all luck for your own goals and I figure, if we can all do THIS (weight loss), then we can do ANYTHING! Go for it!

yoss are you kidding me! when i was in school graduating was my biggest goal as well!! and the police? that's a challenge too! everybody's got things they want to achieve and all are important no matter how big or small. a losing 60 pounds aint no stroll in the park. i know you can do it though!

btw, cupcake mastery is a great super power. use it well chickpea, use it well.

that's the spirit star!

Here are some of my goals -

-Graduate college in May!
-Lose the remaining 18 lbs to my goal & re-evaluate where I should go from there
-Find a guy that actually appreciates me for who I am, not who I was or who I could be (corny? yes, but true)
-Obtain a job in my desired field after graduation
-Continue to eat healthy & hopefully inspire my friends to become more active
-Successfully complete the 5 mile Pie Run on Thanksgiving 2010

I've got a lot of goals....I could keep going on and on

Aww thanks you guys! I've got quite a bit to go, but I'm trying hard!

Cupcake mastery sounds like some sort of super power! One that I will never have *loves cupcakes* And I succumbed to internet shopping today... spending my bonus before I've even got it yet. Oops!

I'm already a master baker, but I've needed to cut back since I use 'broken rule' (any broken one must be eaten!) and the batter rule (all batter must be taste tested!).... My friends miss my baking, so going to save it for more special types of occasions where it's for everyone and I don't eat so much by myself.

My plans:

-Lose the weight by continuing to eat healthy/cooking and rationing my favorites better than I have! *by May 2010*
-Get back on the running/Get better at lifting weights.
-Get new clothes/become more fashionable
-Do well in my classes
-Live a little more!
