Reading this makes me want to try it too. Is it an evey day DVD or every other day? I'm also doing C25K and want to stick with that but you guys make this DVD sound so great!

Carter - Where in Michigan are you moving to?

To get the best results it is advised to do it every day. It's only 20 minutes, not like you're running a marathon or anything. You'll probably be pretty sore the first few days, but work through it and it goes away. The best thing for pushing out lactic acid build up is actually exercise and stretching. LoL.

The best tips those of us who finished/are finishing have:

1. You can try starting with 5lb weights, but you will probably want to have some 3lb weight on hand. Most of us switched down. LoL! If you can't get out to buy weights yet, two water bottles work great too.

2. WEAR GOOD RUNNING/WALKING SHOES. Carpet or not, your body still needs that support for all the jumping jacks and plank position.

3. An extremely good sports bra. I think a couple of us underestimated the jumping intensity and were about knocking ourselves out with runaway bosoms...

4. Stretch really well before and after this DVD on your own. She stretches you for 2 minutes, then she's off like a rocket. I didn't think it was enough, so I did more. It helped with the initial soreness.

that's so weird, i used to live about 45 minutes away from traverse city. but i lived north of there (charlevoix, REALLY pretty place but not much to do)...actually, when we got bored we'd always go to traverse city. i wonder if we know any of the same people.

Wow, reading all the results I really want to try this. I was thinking it would be a good idea for me to do while I'm home for winter break for a month, especially since I obviously won't have my aerobics class. The thing is, I really suck at sticking to things like this. And it's especially hard because I go back and forth between my parents' house and my boyfriend's house. So one night I'll be at mom's, next night at my boyfriend's, maybe the next night I'll be at dad's. So it's hard for me to get something in daily like this. Maybe I'll just have to keep it in my car so that no matter where I am I can get it in... I hope I can find the motivation to do this right, the results sound amazing! And it would really help keep me OP during the holidays at home.

That's exactly when I was thinking of doing it! It would work out perfectly because I'm sure I won't be eatting very well...
