Let's see - I started this journey back on April 16, 2007, and I've lost about 50 pounds (give or take a few ounces) since then. That's about 10 months. The first 2 months I lost about 1-3 pounds a week - after that it was more like 0.5-2 pounds a week. From October to December 2007 it was more like bouncing between the same 4 pounds over and over again. I've lost 7 pounds since January 1, 2008, so I would say I'm averaging about 1 pound a week. It has been really slow but I also think I am building more muscle because I have been getting regular exercise in for the past 3-4 months. I'm also getting closer to my goal weight so it's slowed down considerably. I am determined to get to 130 by my wedding on October 12, 2008, and I've got 8 pounds to go, so I don't care if it takes that long as long as it's off by then.
