I have lost 52lbs over 21 weeks time = 2.47lbs. per week. I feel that I have been very successful and am very proud of myself

I lost 10 pounds in a month. I think I average about 2/week. Of course the first 2 weeks I had lost 10 pounds because of all the water weight....but it slowed down after that.

not very fast at all! i dont stay on plan, i deal with binge issues, and i am close to my body's "chosen" weight so its not like the lbs are pouring off.

but im still noticing a trend... less "fat" days. and i feel good about that.


on the other hand when i go psycho and eat like 1200 cals a day and work out a lot i can lose a lb a day. of course thats mostly water weight and comes back easily.

Right now I am losing pretty fast but I've started out with a big number. I lost 33 pounds since I started 6 weeks ago, so that averages about 5.5 pounds a week. I expect it to start slowing down soon to 1-2 pounds a week but I do still have over 100 pounds to lose

Let's see - I started this journey back on April 16, 2007, and I've lost about 50 pounds (give or take a few ounces) since then. That's about 10 months. The first 2 months I lost about 1-3 pounds a week - after that it was more like 0.5-2 pounds a week. From October to December 2007 it was more like bouncing between the same 4 pounds over and over again. I've lost 7 pounds since January 1, 2008, so I would say I'm averaging about 1 pound a week. It has been really slow but I also think I am building more muscle because I have been getting regular exercise in for the past 3-4 months. I'm also getting closer to my goal weight so it's slowed down considerably. I am determined to get to 130 by my wedding on October 12, 2008, and I've got 8 pounds to go, so I don't care if it takes that long as long as it's off by then.
