What Should I Do When....
I get to my goal weight?
I'm two lbs. away.
Would like to celebrate somehow.
Any ideas?

I think celebrating is a wonderful idea! I would NOT celebrate with food. Don't go out to dinner for it, don't have a hot fudge brownie sunday, or a big peice of cake. (That might not have crossed you mind but it would have crossed mine!) Do something nice for youself. If you have the money go out and buy some new clothing that are stylish and fit well. Or go have a makeover at a local salon. If money is an issue take a me day - one day in the week call in sick (skip class or whatever), don't tell anyone (or they will intrupt your me day), give yourself a manicure/pedicure, read a good book, do whatever it is that you enjoy.

RememberHowToSmile has some good ideas. Go on a shopping spree That's what I'm gonna do when I reach my goal.

Definitely shopping!!!! Or celebrate with some friends with a healthy dinner and a workout party!! Do something that you enjoy, something fun!! Whatever you choose to do make it something memorable for you! Congrats on getting close to goal!!! I'll be watching for the thread when you do get to goal, I'm sure it won't be long!!!

Ooooh, why don't you get a cake?!? Just Kidding! That would be the WORST thing to do. I have had to figure out ways of celebrating birthdays and such without effing eating!!!!
So, shopping is the BEST idea! Or, I don't know where you are, go to a concert or a show or just hang out with your friends, no eating or drinking involved except for a round of diet cokes.

Get a massage? Treat yourself to sports/exercise equipment? Makeover? Sign up for a race? Go visit all your exes? Get a professional photo taken? Find a new challenge? Have a party? Take a trip?

The ones I'm planning to do have already been mentioned:
Take a trip
Get a professional photo taken
I'd also recommend finding a new hobby that will support your new body - start running, learn a new kind of dance, etc.
Congrats! Celebrate, whatever you do!!

Congrats on almost hitting goal!! Shopping for clothes or taking a trip to a day spa for a facial/massage are great ways to celebrate!

Thank you Aqua!!!
It does feel so surreal to be so close. You are doing great also.....look at how much weight you've lost. It's so awesome, I hope you are hugely proud of yourself.
Right now I am cleaning and re-decorating my bedroom. That in itself will be a gift to me.
