Ok, I'm looking for a book on nutrition, one that covers the food groups, and what you should and shouldn't eat....the meaning of transfats, and all that jazz....can anyone reccommend me a book, or maybe a book that you bought that has helped you alot in changing your eating, etc?

I am reading the book YOU on a diet by Dr Oz, and that other Dr, I forget this name. lol. But, it's a really good book. It tells you the process of how your food digests, and everything of that nature. Myth busters, and factoids. You should check it out.

I agree! YOU on a Diet is a good book. I've been reading it and have learned a lot! It explains the science behind why we gain weight, and parts of it are really funny/cute!

I'm reading the "YOU" book also, which is great for the way your body works. A great Nutrition book though, is "Superfoods RX, 14 Foods That Will Change Your Life" It's fantastic!

Thanks for the suggestions! Does the "You" book give any meal plan or ideas of what to eat?? That's the other thing I'm looking for.....
