Cindy, my potassium is fine, but you're right - I probably should stretch more. I used to love walking and walked 30-60 minutes a day. I think the exercise is just as important as the food part, so I look forward to being able to move more freely.

For me, exercise is actually *more* important than the food part - if I diet, I'll do ok for a bit, then stall out. But, if I add exercise to that same diet, I'll see great results. For my body-type and genetic make up, not working out is not an option. My heritage is Polish/Ukranian, so I have that eastern european gene to fight against.

I workout hard 5 days a week, lifting weights and cardio, in order to be able to see any real results. Walking just doesn't cut it for me, unfortunately.

I used to think this was not fair, but now I've just accepted it as a facet of my life - I will always have to workout regularly to stay fit and healthy.

And, when I do it, it does feel great!

I am making a GIANT YOU turn!! I have not been following plan very well. But this challenge sounds great. I want to lose 25lbs. by Sept 1st, and start exercising again.

Ok im joining the challenge...I want to lose 20lbs by Sept. 1st. Thats a reasonable goal right?

Im at 160lbs now, so by Sept 1st I hope to be at 140. I will weigh in on Fridays. Good luck everyone!!

Well I made my goal-a few days early. 30 lbs! I made it secretly back in June since I was a lurker back then. I think the one thing that has helped me the most was the steel cut oats breakfast every morning. For some reason this seems to keep my blood sugar levels steady and stop the out of control food cravings. Thank you Dr Oz!
