Not salt as in salty, but salt as in potassium, sodium, etc. Vegetable juice drinks are great that way! If you have increased your water intake and are exercising, it's easy to run low on these important salts, which are also called "electrolytes."
V-8 juice is really good for this type of craving, too! I use it if I am getting leg cramps at night--a small can an hour or so before bed takes care of the problem.
