I spoke to her about her weight one time, asked her how she could stay so slim and her answer was "I'm very lucky - I just don't get hungry that often. I'm just not a hungry person" Some people have all the luck.

Oh my gosh, oh my gosh. This is too funny! This very friend is going to be my daughters mother in law in three short weeks!!! Yup, my daughter is marrying her son.

Interestingly enough, she said something to my daughter recently on this very matter - she said to her, "I just don't understand why people keep on eating after they're no longer hungry". My daughter tried to explain it, but she just wasn't getting it.

Anyway, wow, wow, wow. I have come a long way. This thread is more than three and a half years old and I was close to the middle of my weight loss journey, 4 1/2 months in, 5 1/2 months till goal. Very cute.

Ooh and about the clothes - very cute to read that. They HAVE become a big motivator for me, and it IS so rewarding to have a fabulous wardrobe to go to every morning.

But this has taken me back to the losing portion of the journey - it was a fabulous time for me. I had a blast!

But of course, the rewards of remaining slim are ENORMOUS and endless. Waking up every morning, walking around in a slim body, getting to BE a slim person with less worries and more joy (the joys are apparent dozens of times throughout the day), then going to bed in that body and starting the process all over again the next morning, is a dream come true and more rewarding than I ever could have imagined, ever could have dreamed possible.

Ha ha! I'm such a dork, I was sooooo confused! I was thinking OMG what happened to my hero robin? Not at goal???? What? I didn't even think to look at the date of the original post! Whew! But what is interesting robin is to see how your posts have changed from then to today - so encouraging!
