Default Exercise DVDS - Question

I'm new here and have been lurking around, reading posts. Alot of you seem to either belong to a gym or are pretty much into running/walking. I am using the treamill (and the dog!) for walking but also like to do other things. We just got a Total Gym (you know, the one Christie Brinkley and Chuck Norris push -- well, we got the much cheaper one!) but haven't really gotten into a rountine w/it yet. I also have used FIRM tapes and some Billy Blanks tapes. Anyone have any input on Core Rhytms dance dvds or even YogaBootyBallet? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

If you're looking for some 'light day' fun workouts, both CR and YBB will fit the bill.

Neither is much of a workout, though. (But they're well produced, and have a 'fun' factor)

Thanks MiniMe. I'm not too much into "fun" workouts. I like Billy BLanks because he just gets to it and gets it done. I'm not too fussy about production quality (BB has crappy audio for the first 8 minutes or so until they turn the loud girl's mike off!). I have some old Gilad tapes but they just aren't enough of a workout. I'm looking mostly for alternative cardio workouts; I bought a jump rope and am going to try that after I build up some endurance and leg muscles!

I love fitness DVDs and have a collection of 50+. Here are a few of my all time favorites...

1. I Want That Body - This is a quick, AWESOME strength workout.

2. Minna Optimizer Balanced Blend - This is DVD contains two workouts and both are very enjoyable.

3. The Firm: Firm Parts/ 5 Day Abs & Tough Tape 2 - Again, this is one DVD with 2 workouts. I really enjoy the Tough Tape 2. It's a nice strength workout.

4. The Best of Crunch Step - I like the Fast Blaster step workout for a fun, quick cardio workout that's not too challenging.
