So my mom tried atkins a couple of years ago and had a really successful induction phase she lost like 15 pounds, tongiht Iwas looking around on the Atkins site and I noticed that the Atkins products are listed as part of induction now, what gives, I htought you couldnt have any type of bread cereal stuff likethat especially during induction, I cant afford to buy speacial foods, can yo udo Atkins without buying all that stuff??? Since Dr. Atkins death, "Atkins Nutritionals" has taken over and things like bars,shakes and breads...made by "Atkins Nutritionals" are all now "allowed" on Induction! Imagine that!!!

True Atkins Induction, consists of real foods & clean eating. Lean meats, poultry,fish,veggies,salad,cheese,eggs etc. Do yourself a favor, if you are considering doing Atkins...buy Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution and read it from cover to cover. Understand how & why this works. Stay away from bars, shakes & breads until you are in the maintaince phase...and then I would recommend using them only occasionally. You don't need "special" foods to do Atkins correctly. Save your money!
