Today is going great. I'm trying to incorperate more variety and have a greater selection on my choices. Spaghetti squash doesn't taste as well without the butter. I hope everyone is doing fabulouslly this Friday.

Hello everyone! I am new here but have been lurking about for about 2 weeks now. I started the Fat Smash diet 8 days ago and i have lost 6 lbs so far. I love this diet! It has helped me overcome my bingeing & my sweet cravings. I really think it's the most healthy but easiest diet out there. I plan to do it for life and not make it "ANOTHER" diet. Sunday I start Phase #2 and im really excited cause i have actually been craving grilled chicken and tuna. Well, I will be back tomorrow to keep you all posted.
B: 1/2 cup oats & 1/2 bananna & 1/2 cup skim milk
S: 1/2 apple & 1 orange
L: oatmeal cookies(fat smash recipe) YUM! & 1/2 cup skim milk
S: egg white, spinach & tomato omelet & grapes
D: planning on having a salad w/ fruit
S: planning on having 1/2 cup yogurt & peaches
Day 3 phase 1 for me and going great!! I had lost another 2 lb this morning, so that is 3lb in 2 days!!!
I'm going to be adding extra protein to my smoothies today, and I will try to eat some veggies PROMISE!!
Going to the pictures tonight with hubby, kids and kids friends, so I'm planning on making a big fruit salad for me to chomp on!! Knowing my luck the kids will spot it and try to nab it!!! Cant they just be happy to be having popcorm!!!!

Well, I am thrilled, I decided to do detox for 4 days after having a gain, and I was so happy to see the scale down 3 pounds this morning, not bad for only doing detox for 4 days. I will switch to phase 3 for the weekend, and see what happens, would like to lose 1 more pound, and then work on maintaining again....Have a fun day planned, DH and I will be going skeet shooting at the club we belong to today, they are having a Christmas party for the members, and will be providing a BBQ and free shooting, I AM skipping the food and going straight for the skeet field. I have my salad and soup made and will eat before I go, so the food won't even tempt me....Wishing everyone here a great Fat Smash day!!!!
Today is # 6 in detox and still going! LOL I have to admit I've only done minimal ie. I need a swift kick in the rear on that one. I have hit a barrier. Anyone else here been like that?
Also, I get kind of depressed around xmas. We are struggling financially this year and it"s put a damper on things. Which is why I decided to start FS! I need to put the lights on the tree so we can decorate this evening. The little guy is so excited.
It makes my day to see the board family everyday and read such positive encourageing words. I believe we'll all succeed in this venture. WE CAN DO IT !!!!

isn't it great to be able to come here and have friends that are working on the same thing as you are? I just love it....About the IE, just start out slow, and work your way up. I've heard that just jumping in place for 1 min gets your heart rate up and burns calories, maybe try that, just jog in place for 1 min, and if it gets your heart rate up, try doing that for 1 min 4-5 times a day, you'll be suprised how that little bit will help you, and you'll find the more you do it the longer you can go, baby steps are way better then no steps at all....Have a great day!!!
Hi everyone! Hope you are all well and having a beautiful Saturday. It is 65 degrees here in KY! I have a few errands to run so I am going to park at the end of the lots and walk to the stores. I wish I had the time to walk for an hour today. Maybe tomorrow if it doesn't rain. I made it to Jazzercise this morning for the first time since returning from my trip and back to detox. It felt good but it was hard! I look forward to the days when it is easier again!
Mary - just squeeze in whatever minutes you can wherever. I always park at the end of lots now instead of circling forever trying to get a spot up close. Every step counts! When I clean house I do it more vigorously than before to burn more calories
Judy we miss you and hope you are ok.

How are all of you Beautiful Smashers doing this Sunday morning? Well,I'm in my 7th day of detox.........YEAH. LOL. I really would like some steamed fish or baked chicken. YUM! I will start doing more ie tomorrow.......I PROMISE. My VCR player has The Frog Prince stuck in it and my DVDs are Turbo Jam which I haven't practiced. I can hardly wait until the day comes that ie will be so enjoyable. I'm not completely lazy..I'm part of an ATS Bellydance troupe and we work hard. Once a week for 1 1/2 hrs isn"t enough though.
You all have been such great supporters and I want to thank you. We will succeed in this together. Hugs to my board family.

Managed to drink water at KFC last night whilst everyone else skoffed yummy stuff! I also took a huge fruit salad with me to eat in the cinema! Successful night, and I lost a pound this morning!!

Hi smashers! Everyone seems to be doing so awesome this weekend! I messed up again this weekend. I do really good with the weekdays and schedules, but on the weekends I always mess up. I loaded my chilli with cheese on top...then ate it with tostito chips. After that I had a handful and half of M&Ms and chocolate kisses.
I can't believe how well the fat smash plan has worked for me! 4 weeks ago I would never have believed that I would be almost 20 lbs lighter in just a month! I decided to go on fat smash because I realized that I was not the person that I wanted to be. I was sick and tired of being...sick and tired. Over the last month I have continuously reminded myself of what I wanted to be and celebrated every little victory in lbs and inches. This board has been such an awesome support and a great resource. I really don't think I could have come this far without you guys. I just want to say Thank you!

I meant to ask, are you still on phas 1 or did you move to phase 2?
I cant decide what to do, it's my day 5 on phase 1 tomorrow, and I'm loving it! Kind of scared to start adding things in, you know?
I pretty much stick to phase 1 with a little phase 2 added in here and there. For example, I may eat the meat one day but not the cheese. I may eat the cereal with milk one morning but not the oatmeal or the yogurt.
I was scared to add things too. One thing you may want to look at is to count calories as well. That will help if you are worried about adding things in. There is a calorie counting website from about.com(I think...try googling it) that has the nutritional content on just about everything, so you can create a food log and it totals your calories.
