Hey Sky, glad to hear you're back on track.

Amanda, maybe you can make working out a family affair so you don't have to go downstairs alone?

Hey Sky, I wanted to check in and let you know that I'll be away for about a week or so. I'm going on a cruise with lots of food so I'm not gonna set unrealistic goals and say that I won't indulge, but I will get back on track when I return so I'll chat with you when I get back. Have a happy holiday.

Hi Sky,

I'm new to this forum. I found this site accidently while looking for diets on the Internet. I too am struggling to lose weight. So I'm hoping this will help me. I have about 30 lbs. to lose so I can feel healthy. My main goal is to feel strong and fit, but I'm so lazy.

Well, keep your chin up and keep on truckin'.

Darb.

Hey Sky, I'm back. I see you lost another pound. THAT'S GREAT! I don't think I did too bad while I was on vacation. I made it a point to eat only when I was hungry and I tried hard to use portion control. However I did have quite a few sugary alcoholic drinks. I'll weigh in tomorrow for the official numbers.

Well Sky, I did gain my 3 lbs back while on vacation, but that's ok. This week I'm back at it full force I updated my mini-goal because I'd like to buy a sexy dress to wear on my bf's b-day. I've got my motivation back

I totally understand about the hectic days. The sad thing about my situation is that I have a treadmill right next to my bed and I've been making excuses and putting off using it. So, to stay on track I've set a daily goal that I can live with since my problem seems to be inconsistency. I'll try to let you each evening how my day went. I'm going to walk/jog on the treadmill for 1 mile in the morning before work and for 1 mile in the evenings after work. This will be much healthier than lying in the bed (which is literally 3 feet away) and snacking while I watch tv. My eating habits haven't been too bad so I'll continue to make healthier choices and stay away from fried foods and fast food. I think that if I stick to my exercise regimen I should see results even with a splurge every now and then. Hope you had a great day.
