Question Question re SF Jams and Jellies

Hey all! Just a quick question-I know that you are not allowed to have any fruit while you are in Phase 1, so how can you have SF jams and jellies?? Just a little confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

BTW, you guys are all awesome!!

It is listed in the Phase 1 Food List under Sweet Treats.

Very good point...it's here: http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/showthread.php?t=49548

I'm confused too, but I haven't read the lists in a long time. I'm sure Ruth can explain it.

Note that it's limited to 75 calories a day. It also states that the jams and jellies must be sweetened with sugar alcohols, NOT extra fruit juice. According to fitday, a tablespoon of jam sweetened with fruit juice has 36 calories and the same amount sweetened with artificial sweetener has only 2. The amount of fruit in the latter is minimal.

I'll change the title of this post to facilitate future searches and will move it to FAQ eventually as I'm sure it will come up again.
