I am so very grateful for your wonderful posts. Dragonwoman, I see you are in Brooklyn. I lived in NYC for 14 years, 7 in Manhattan and 7 in Brooklyn (Boreum Hill). I am up there all the time, maybe we could meet for coffee on my next trip.

Hi, Elaine, I went to visit my aunt and cousins in Washington in April. I love touring around Washington (must be hot there now, it was hot when I went). I'm here in Park Slope. We seem to be getting more and more coffee places here every year (I'm not complaining, since I'm a coffee drinker). Love to meet and have a cup

Sounds great! I have been to Brooklyn Botanical garden many times. LOVE the roses. Washington has been blessed with an unseasonably cool spring and early summer so far! Not so bad today!

I'll be in NYC the weekend of August 18 - 20. Will you be around then?

Today is going really well, diet wise and otherwise!
