Good job on the losses everyone!!

Yogini - your body is a complicated thing. Just stick with it! Next week or the week after, the loss will show, it just takes time!

Great losses this week.

Yogini -- a night weight might be very different than a morning weight. Try again in a morning. Sandi, you keep going. It is going to click! It is it is! I am so impressed with your resolve and determination. WOW Victoria. Congrats on 80 lbs. YP1 -- you are incredible. I lvoe those new decades too.

I finally broke through my plateau this week and am down 3 lbs. and at my second mini-goal!!!!

Lost another 2 lbs this week. I am now 10 lbs away from my goal of 245. I have decided to go to 230 lbs but it will still be a big deal for me to get to my original goal of 245. I was doing some BMI calculations and it said at 230 I will be 29.5 body fat. That is in the over weight range and no longer obese range. With the extra skin I just don't see getting much lower than that.

I have lost 2.5 pounds bringing me to 301.5. Woohoo!! The ticker doesn't do half pounds so it shows a loss of six pounds but it's really 5.5.

Howie, just curious. Are you considering getting the skin removed surgically? Congrats on losses to you and teahoney.

No probably not. If offered the money to do it I might, but then I would probably think of so many other things I could spend that money on. LOL It would be nice to have it done but I really don't know if I would take the risk and the pain.

Howie - I'm not too sure how the American health stuff works, but I know here in Canada you can get the extra skin taken off for free, I believe here the family doctor would say that it's causing problems... ie rashs. And often your family doctor will send you to the best... it could be very different in the USA though. Just thought I'd pass that along to you

Yes my doctor said she could talk to the health insurance and go that route. However I don't have problems from the skin and just don't really want to go through all that.

Thanks for the info though.

Heya, everyone. I'm late posting, as usual! Lost 2 pounds this week, for a total of 75 so far. I'm a happy camper.

I gained.
blech!!

.6 of a lb. I started working out this week. I am just wondering if the initial gain is due to my body changing a little bit. I really didn't do bad this week so I'm not upset. I did a great workout last night I did 10 mins on elliptical, 5 miles on the bike, 7 mins on the arc trainer and upper body (push and pull) with the machines- 3 reps of 10 on each.
I was planning on skipping today but I want to go and do some cardio again. I will not be doing lower body on the machines because I always hurt my knee and quit. I figure with the cardio I am working my legs. I can definetly feel the pain.

.6 is nothing to worry about, hang on in there and it will start heading down soon enough.
