i was the 122nd person to vote at our polling place. and let me tell you i was a nervous wreck. i intialed the sign in sheet where i was only supposed to sign, not initial.. and then i messed up on the ballot and had to fill out the spoiled ballot form. i was shaking so bad. LOL i feel like i voted for the best possible answers/people for each thing that i could and can't wait to see the results.

I made my way to Ohio, figuring that'd be the easiest place to register, but was promptly found out and escorted back across the border.

You bet I did!

The weather here is very rainy and turnout has not been as good as we had hoped (so far at least). We are under a flood watch but I'm hoping that won't stop people from voting.

I agree with you Shelly, I can't wait to watch the results! Let's just hope we know by tomorrow morning!! No repeat of last time.

We are considered to be a "battle ground state" We got 3 "recorded messages" calls yesterday. My 4 year old answers the phone and yells.. Mom, it's President Bush on the phone again - too funny!

I am not eligible to vote - I hope to be for the next presidental election in 2008.

I voted! I really wanted to pull the lever, but I go to school out of state so I had to mail my ballot. My dad said that he saw my name crossed off when he went to vote, so I got it.

It's my first time voting, yeay. I'm really nervous about the election!

I love the absentee ballot. My DH and Dad both had to drive to the polls in the rain today, but last week I just filled out my ballot at the kitchen table, put it in the envelope and stuck the stamp on.

Shelley--I've been voting in almost every election I could since I was 18 and I've only had one other ballot that was longer--it was a 2 pager. I cheat and get copies of the sample ballots ahead of time (I work at the paper so we get one here) and that way it gives me a chance to look over everything on the ballot ahead of time and then I can just go in and mark it. (I was #17 at my polling place)
Of course when I went in to vote there were at least 5 others slowly reading and marking their ballots. I went in, made my marks for president and such, voted whether or not to keep our judges, voted for sheriff, and turned the ballot over and voted for I don't remember how many state questions.

I've always enjoyed voting. I still remember the first presidential election I was eligible to vote in in 1992.

I didnt vote. The state I live in is strongly in one direction, so I know where all of our electoral votes are going *sigh* so there was really no point
