futurehealthyme no I do not suffer from asthma, though as a child I did have a period where I dealt with asthma attacks while I had pneumonia. Cold air and any physical effort definitely triggered these coughing fits. They seem to have diminished in frequency and strentgh over the past couple of days. I'm hopeful that my body is finally getting rid of whatever has been making me sick these past few weeks. Your asthma triggers sound very serious and that attack must have been quite scary. Take good care as well.

Well. I'm calling it. I'm not getting to 280 by the end of December.

SURPRISE! Mother in law and her almost-fiance will be here this evening through Sunday (which I found out on Monday), so I have to make sure they are fed, and I had to keep the treats I was going to give away so they'd be here for the guests to snack on... Which means I have been snacking on them, too. And I forgot to make my oats last night, so I didn't have a good start to today either. I ate a huge thing of pumpkin bread with a ton of butter. Gotta rein it in, seriously. When I checked the scale this morning, I was still up 4 pounds. I know I didn't eat *that* much over maintenance over the last few days, and I'm ovulating, which always has some added water retention, so I will eventually pee most of that out. But it's like a kick when I'm down! I've been trying so hard to manage portions, and I know my guests will not be supportive of my efforts. They are big eaters, and enablers. SIGH. I will still go for 270 at the end of January, though!

I am a glutinous F**k!! I actually had a slice of banoffee pie while waiting on my boiled eggs at breakfast..... AT BREAKFAST! What is wrong with me

Other than that, the 5 chocolates that I had, and the plate of fruit with ice-cream and canned cream the day went well. Tomorrow will be much better because there is now no more pie or chocolates . I will have my eggs at breakfast, lunch will be tuna and cucumber on toast, and dinner is fish cakes with baby potatoes and veggies. I am hoping to get right back on track with a new day, now that most of the splurge food is gone. I am also going to throw away anything left over so that it doesn't get mindlessly eaten my glutinous me.

I don't do very much for new years eve, so I should be on track all the way now. I only have my grans 75th birthday party on New Years Day, which is buffet style and she always has some chilli which I can eat .
I am hoping to have a new gym membership for the new year which will help me out a lot as it is at the end of my street .

Hope we can all soldier on through

Wishing everyone a great last day of 2016! I have been MIA, too many issues creeping back and hubby hurt himself at work and has been off since the 5th and this has put extra stress on me. 2017 will bring better things for all of us, I'm sure.
