I updated my ticker since I was up last week. I'm getting nervous now. Will I make my goal? Seeing 6 pds to go there make me think I won't. I guess it really depends on what the scale says Friday. Did I loose that pound I was up plus some? Can I really loose the rest by next Wednesday? Arghhh! I might really need to step up my game.

Goddess-
I am nervous too. We go on Spring Break Friday. Already the chatter- lets get together for lunch over break. Yikes-there goes my rigid routine.

I have some social obligations- a wedding shower on Wednesday night and a wedding brunch on Saturday and then Easter Sunday dinner- already I have gained 20 pounds in my mind.

All I know is that I need a plan, and some safety nets to help me stay on my plan. But right now, I have nothing.

Molly, I hear you. Tuesday is my last day at this job. Today, one work friend and I are doing lunch. Tuesday, the two I usually go to lunch with on Fridays are going to lunch with me on my last day. Thursday, I go to the main campus to meet a college classmate who also works for the hospital. We are having lunch, the Friday, I have a lunch with another co-worker on the main campus. I better eat lots of salads at these lunches. I usually take my lunch everyday but Friday. And I have been having salads with meet on our Friday lunches.

Down (almost) another pound this week!
I don’t think I will make my goal weight this time, but I did set a ridiculous goal! But, I was consistently down, so I will take it as a win!

Try to make "happy plates". 3/4 the plate veggies-fresh, steamed, baked-anything but fried and sauced or cheesed- and then 1/4 protein source. It probably isn't balanced because no grain or dairy but I am not a dietician. ha
Water and no dessert. That is my standard "go to" plan for eating out. Happy farewells and exciting new beginnings!

Happy Friday! Hope you all have something fun planned for the weekend. Even if you are working. Do something to love yourself. You are beautiful and kind and good.

I wish you well,
~Molly

Molly, thanks for the words of encouragement. I don't do much bread, but I have brown and wild rice, quinoa, and sometimes pasta a couple of times a week. When we have tacos and burritos, I skip the tortilla or the taco shells and make myself a taco salad instead. When I go out to lunch, I try to stick with salads with protein. I am worried about the sodium and water retention. from eating out so much the next week. I think I will substitute the salad dressing with oil and vinegar with lemon.

I have a plan for the weekend, take my regular lunch today, left over salmon and side tonight, stay on plan tomorrow and Sunday. Sunday I have to work for who knows how long doing inventory at the hospital. So I don't know if I will be there at lunch time. If I am, they have a really nice salad bar. I still have plenty of chicken already cooked. Zero alcohol, and maybe a walk or two though the neighborhood. I have a Labrador who would love the attention.

Hi Folks,

Wow! People seem to be doing really well. I lost another 3 pounds for 10.5 this challenge. Even more exciting is that I am in Onederland at 198.5 (yesterday's weight). Yahoo I am not sure I will stay there as today is my birthday and I have a round of celebrations. I also know that I will not go crazy either!

Was just looking at BMI charts. I had to readjust my goal so I would end up in the "normal weight" category. Wow. Back up to having lose 87 pounds.
Right now I am not feeling very positive.
I will bounce back. Maybe ignorance is bliss after all, ha!

Molly, you are doing great. Don't let a change in number get you down. You and I are in this for the long haul.
