So close to the 260s... 270.2 this morning. AF is here visiting too. Tomorrow is my "official" weigh in for the week. What are the chances the scale will be in the 260s?!

I thought I'd drop in and see who's moving down to the 260's and 250's thread soon.

Thanks for the encouragement,Roxie! My daughter is back at her home now, and I'm back here. We had a great (nice and long!) visit, but as always it was bittersweet because she had leave.(Although I'm very happy she enjoys where she is and it has been a very good experience for her to try city living after growing up in a small town. Excellent for dd! Just hard for me.)

And LOL re: French Day Camp. That's always how I was with my kids too. Some parents can't wait to "get a break"; I always hated seeing them go back to school, etc.

Hello fellow 280ers and 270ers.

Do you ever feel like there's a limit to how much higher your weight can get? Like it varies with each individual but at some point your body says, "Alright, I've reached the limit. You are not gaining any more weight than this, it's all I can stand." I've been in the 270s for a little more than a year now. It seems like no matter how much I go over my calories, it will not break the 279 lbs limit for some reason.

Ugh!! The scale will not budge. I am 270.4 today. Af is gone already but I think she forgot to take her excess weight with her. *sigh*

I am still in the 270s.. hopefully just.

On wed I was 273.5 - I am hoping to be in the 260s either this weekend or next. A little freaked out as I am going to New Orleans on the 13th for 5 days and meeting up with a lot of friends i haven't seen in 5 years plus. we are all staying at hotels so there will be no safety net of cooking for myself I did however pick a hotel that has a gym and a pool so I can at least keep going and getting exercise.

Well here I am back again for the zillionth time. Always find the best support and friends on 3FC. Joined WW again today, also for the zillionth time. Been planning to come back for a while and was waiting till after this giant wedding we had on Sunday night. My husband and I were the biggest people there and that is pretty sad considering there were over 400 people at this wedding. Gives me even more incentive to try and lose weight and be healthy once again. So I am starting the rest of my life again today and praying that this is the last time that I start over. Hoping I change my lifestyle for good this time. Also hoping that my hubby jumps on the bandwagon with me. Feels great to be back.

Hi Lindy, I am on WW too. I joined on August 3. I joined 3FC back in the late 90s when I was 60+ pounds lighter. I need to stick with it this time and truly make this a lifestyle change.

I think I also joined 3FC in the 90s. Been on and off for years. Sometimes I would just pop on and lurk and get try to get motivated but I find if I actually get involved with the chatter I do much better. Here's to a new beginning!

I was up WAY too late last night. I got somewhere in the ballpark of 5 hours sleep. I don't know how people do that all the time. I noticed that it affected my weight this AM. Have a great day!

So far so good today. Looking forward to eating dinner. Have to get used to not eating McDonalds with the kids everyday at 2pm when I come home from work.
