+ sunshine and above freezing temps for today
+ Liz relieved me early from my volunteer stint at the Mill
+ got started on party food shopping yesterday
+ all gifts to mail will be ready by tomorrow
+ invited Liz and family for dinner Thursday
+ got comps to The Blue Men from my cousin who is one
...for Sundays. They are always really nice days.
...for another dry day yesterday, although very cold.
...for staying on schedule and keeping patient.
...for a clean house and a routine.
...for 18 days until the solstice.
...for a quiet night of Christmas puzzles and movies!
- such fun with friends last night... supper out, looking at outside Christmas lights, and back to our house to watch a special football game. (too bad the our team lost..)
- I am hypnotized by our bubble lights.
- DH has the basement ready for our new carpet. We've been wanting to do it for many years. I am so grateful.
- GS has the sweetest pictures of him with Santa (at the mall)
- my family, my friends, YOU ALL, fb, internet, cell phone, music
- 'healthy' car.

+ nice birthday party for Lorna who is 90 years old and still definitely has all her marbles - she hasn't seen me for a while and noticed my weightloss
+ found my old lamb pilaf recipe which I plan for Thursday's dinner party
+ out West gifts are wrapped and ready for mailing
+ feeling on top of things - even if I really am not!
Good morning. I am grateful to be able to come here this morning - I feel so low energy. Must be the way Mondays are right now.
...for a fun day with my mom.
...for making some really healthy decisions that were surprisingly hard.
...for knowing when to redirect to something else rather than bog down in other people's problems.
...for heat!
After writing it, I was thinking, "wow, I sound deep!" All the comments on it once it was published were like "thank you for this article, etc ,etc" My editor loved it, too!

I am grateful for hand lotion. My hands really get dry this time of year
I am grateful that the puppy let me exercise without decided that I needed help with my downward dog.
I am grateful that I met new people that I can buy Nia dvds for $15 from and remind me that I want to try Nia.
I am grateful that headache I've had most of the night let me write and exercise (it abated for those instances).
+ enjoyed myself at the Christmas lunch yesterday - maybe because the Negative Nellies didn't make it
+ remembered to stop at the grocery store when I was out
+ Florida citrus order has arrived - huge oranges!
+ Joanne popped in to check out my side porch light
+ found my Christmas earring box - I lose it every year
+ have two good men's winter coats to give to Rob for the street people
+ Disney seems to have recovered from her bladder problem

+ people's generosity for a local family in financial trouble - all we had to do was ask
