I love this thread. This thread made me get off my butt and go to the gym today, because I know how good I feel after a workout.
I won't say I love exercising, but nothing beats the feeling of pushing through that OH GOD PLEASE MAKE IT STOP phase, past the pain and exhaustion to that endorphin rush. I generally start out playing a game with myself like "there's no way I'm gonna be able to do 45 minutes...if I get to 1/2 an hour at least it's 1/2 an hour". Then at somewhere around the 20 minute mark I generally switch my ipod to angry, kickass music and that's when I start powering through. The next thing I know I've blown past 45 minutes to a full hour and I feel like some sort of superhero.
