Thank you SOOO much Ladies!!

Lottie! I was the same way! I was totally in denial that I could possible ever need a c-section after birthing 2 kids naturally with no drugs whatsoever.
I still feel the same way mostly, except we were one of the cases where there was just no other option but to die... Obviously not a good choice! I was so pissed about the medication they had to give me, from the IV's to the spinal, and everything in between.

I'm just so grateful that we're both OK and she's here safe. I figure, and the doctors and midwife both told us that we did everything we could to avoid it, including 32 hours of labour....
Even though things didn't go according to plan, I'm just so blissfully happy

Oy, I feel for you! My first birth was a failed home birth and c-section in the end, my second was a VBAC with a nuchal hand (compound presentation). No fun at all.

That weightloss is fantastic, congratulations!
