Well, I went to the surgeon and he told me that the people where I got my breast biopsy done at should have never called me and told me that everything was okay and they would see me next year for my yearly mammogram. He said some of the tissue they removed was precancerous and I have to have another mammogram in 3 months. I realize this is not cancer and all but it is not the same as "Everything is ok, see you next year" either :| Plus today I am already super stressed

Did he give you any ideas to reduce your chances of pre-cancer becoming full blown cancer? (Are you on any hormones for birth control, for instance?) Waiting 3 months without being proactive would make me lose my grip on sanity. I'm so sorry you're going through this!

No, nothing But I also have an appointment with my primary doctor today as well and I plan on speaking to him about it. I am the kind of person who stresses over everything to the max so yes, 3 months with nothing will make me (more) bonkers . Thanks for your concern and support

First

Now, take a deep breath. You still don't have cancer so that's good news. Great news actually. You had some precancerous cells and that sucks but they removed them and now they (and you) know to be extra vigilant in keeping an eye on things so that's actually a good thing. Not many people get to find things before they become something sinister so you've had fantastic luck here. Really. I promise.

Right now everything is okay but checking back in 3 months instead of waiting an entire year just makes more sense in your case since they did find those nasty little changer cells. They're being proactive and keeping a close eye on you - that's a good thing. It means that anything new that may (but probably won't) crop up will be caught early and taken care of so quickly that it won't have time to do anything!
