Now, take a deep breath. You still don't have cancer so that's good news. Great news actually. You had some precancerous cells and that sucks but they removed them and now they (and you) know to be extra vigilant in keeping an eye on things so that's actually a good thing. Not many people get to find things before they become something sinister so you've had fantastic luck here. Really. I promise.
Right now everything
is okay but checking back in 3 months instead of waiting an entire year just makes more sense in your case since they did find those nasty little changer cells. They're being proactive and keeping a close eye on you - that's a good thing. It means that anything new that may (but probably won't) crop up will be caught early and taken care of so quickly that it won't have time to do anything!
