Default 10-10-10 My New "BIRTH" Day!!!

Im new to this site. But of course not to "dieting". DH & I are into the together this time around. Our offical start day, if thats what you wanna call it, was to be tomorrow. But when I went to bed last night I had the TV on & twice I heard the Happy Birthday Song in about 5 minutes. I thought to myself that 10-10-10 just had to be "the day". So I am now calling it my NEW Birthday...I cant wait to see more then 100lbs gone by 11-11-11!!

Ive got my food for the week (thanks to this site) all planned out & bought. We already went for a walk this afternoon & made healthy choices in our meals today. Oh & lets NOT forget the WATER! We do belong to a gym, but havent been there since FEB! That will change, I MUST fit the gym in even though im working fulltime & have to young kids @ home. I CANT & WILL NOT make that an EXCUSE!

Thank you for listening!

I'm jealous! You couldn't have picked a better date!! LOL!

See for me, I decided I was going to commit to one year of being on plan without any excuses. That was/is my goal far more than any pounds lost goal. I just wanted to see where I'd be if I kept going without giving up no matter what. It's been 11 months and I've lost 75 pounds! This is the most success I've ever had because once I made that simple commitment, the scale lost all its power. It didn't matter when I stalled because I had to keep eating right and exercising for one year...period.

But YOU! To make a one year and one month goal going from 10/10/10 to 11/11/11??!! That's just too awesome for words!

Good for you!
