Beach NSVs

  • I'm at my mom's beach house right now, and frustrated because I can't get the scale to move. So I'm going to focus on a few NSVs.

So, here are a few UBER NSVs.

When I sit on a beach chair with my feet together and knees pressed together, there is this big scooped out hollow between my two thighs.

I can walk up the beach stairs without getting winded at all.

I can stand straight up from a beach chair without needing to fall forward onto my knees to stand.

I can climb on the water trampoline without any trouble.

I went sailing. For the past few years I was afraid to go because I couldn't duck under the boom.
  • woohoo! every one of them worth celebrating!
  • Those are great NSVs!!

I know exactly what you mean, we belong to a beach club... I didn't even realize that last year, I don't think I left my chair more than a few times. This year, everyday I'm walking down to the beach and enjoying myself w/my family... I didn't even realize it until now!
  • Uber, that is wonderful!
  • Wooohoooo! way to go!
  • Those are wonderful NSVs. Aren't those type of things the real reason we wanted to lose weight? The number on the scale is just a number. The important thing about weight loss is being able to live our lives in the fullest way possible.

    Enjoy the beach, Uber!
