By the way, some people have allergic reactions to Neosporin, so I use Bacitracin instead (although I haven't had the belly button problem..)

I have this problem occasionally and it was actually on Dr. Oz not too long ago, so a lot of people more than who are willing to admit, have this issue, so we are not alone.

I've had it as well. I wash, rinse and dry well, and usually use my hairdryer to make sure it's nice and dry.

I give a lot of dog baths at work, so I'm prone to it, even with the plastic apron, I still get wet a lot.

I used to have this problem a LOT. Now I wash my belly button with the orange Dial soap and make sure to get it good and dry after I shower and it hasn't been an issue in a long time .
